No one has bounced around like Lane. Left UT at the altar, got left on the tarmac by USC, had a once in a lifetime overhead projector presentation firing by Al Davis from the Raiders, and just ditched a CFP team before the playoffs in one of their best seasons ever.

I have several good UGA friends, a-ok with them winning it all. Honestly, a Kiffin-less Ole Miss winning it all would be an amazing story.

Zero chance CFP committee leaves 11-1 Ole Miss at home; maybe affects the seed slightly but not enough to remove them entirely. Also zero chance Ole Miss willingly vacates the seat.
Heupel not going anywhere regardless of result; one of the better coaches in recent Vols history.

I don't think Texas leapfrogs us if we beat the Vols (likely ranked Top 20), but not super comfortable about it given the H2H result
