College Football is Bass Ackwards

Imagine the NFL letting wild card teams rest the first week of the playoffs while the “wild card” teams get to rest and prepare for the playoffs. This is essentially what we have with the top teams all having to play conference championships.
Heck, I don’t blame Georgia for being pissed A&M lost. They would have had two weeks of rest! Instead, they have to play Bama and risk injuries and losing their first round bye.
Thoughts?

So where does Tennessee stand on their coach if they get blown out by Vandy this weekend?

Tennessee beat Florida 1 time from 2005 to 2021. Josh Heupel has beat them 3 times. Has also beaten Bama twice, but yet people are saying he’s on the hot seat and should be fired. What in the world is going on with our fanbase? Do they not remember the almost two decades of irrelevance after firing Fulmer????? Ridiculous. ??????

In the title. Why would anyone play a tough out of conference game with it only hurting you in the modern playoff era? The rankings clearly show SOS does not matter? Furthermore, the SEC should break up and send Oklahoma and Texas back as well as Misssouri / Texas A&M to be back to 12 teams.
Also, championship games are irrelevant when Georgia get the bye without even playing in the SEC championship which gives them two extra weeks of rest and no chance of injury.

Sorry, it was 28-10 beat down in Oxford. I just find it laughable that Georgia fans act like they are better than two teams that beat them. Especially, when the refs bailed them out in what should have been a losing effort to Georgia Tech.
Truth is this season has been a shite show of parity in the SEC with no truly dominant team…

How in the heck did Hunter win the Heisman over Jeanty? Jeanty had arguably the second best season ever for a RB with nearly 2500 yds, 29 tds and 7.3 ypc. Hunter had a good season ,but I think it was purely social media hype with Deion and the Buffalos…

Has the committee addressed whether the championship game losses will count against teams? Perfect example would be Bama loses to Texas and UGA gets in (or Ole Miss)…
I mean, almost worth opting out so you can be guaranteed a cupcake road game against Indiana (and not risk a tougher game with injuries and being left out)… ??????
