I saw at least 4 teams (could have been more) wear all black uniforms yesterday. 3 of the 4 lost. Tennessee, Houston and Nebraska all lost. Only Utah won. And Nebraska went all in on it. The end zones were black, the sidelines were black and even the big N at midfield was black.

Alabama is unique in that we maintain the traditions or the brand as Saban used to say. I love it.

They're wearing black because they're going to their own funeral as Scott Cochran once said.

If I had to guess Utah and Houston actually have black as a school color. Nebraska has the black shirts tradition but it’s more of a practice and conditioning thing. Tennessee went all in on promoting a color that isn’t theirs and took a loss

I’d happily participate in a BDS whiteout and think the stadium would look incredible. But I won’t lose any sleep if we never do it

Maybe I'm just old school, but bringing a color from the pinwheel that isn't in your school colors and then weaving into your uniforms is just a clown show and gimicky.

White helmets for an Auburn away game would be cool. Not like our luck there is the best anyway.

That said.... those one time, gray BAMA jerseys for Basketball were pretty sick

But that is part of our tradition, regardless of what some posters say. We wouldn't be going against tradition.

Saban was correct.

I hope this is something CKD (or anyone else) never touches.

As long as we have the head ball coach in the black hoodie we are good.

Amen. Bama has one tradition. Winning. Same old uniform looks great running off the field to get the trophy.

That right there was one of the biggest wins in Alabama history. Terry Davis at QB.

My 1st Bama (vs Memphis State 1959) Bama's headgears were white. Looked great then and would today.

Bama switched to crimson in the Bluebonnet Bowl vs Texas in 1960)

Bama 3 Texas 3
