Hey was wondering what the best practices for parking for ole Miss games?
Are there any lots you’d recommend? My calves are pretty frickin yoked so I don’t mind walking if parking is cheaper and easy to get out of traffic post game.
Thanks!

There are paid lots all around town where you’d walk 1-2 miles to get to the grove/stadium.

I’ve parked at Northwest Community College and taken the shuttle over. It’s the roundabout capital of MS you can’t avoid traffic on game day.

Immediately off old Taylor road roundabout to your right there is a realtor office, guys standing out by the road with a sign for parking
$40 to park. Walk across the highway and up the hill to the stadium, you can zip right out onto the highway once the games over . No waiting hours for a shuttle , about as close as you can. Get with no parking pass . It’s safe. Very convenient location . I would recommend doing that so you avoid Jackson Avenue and that clusterfrick

I park at the FNC Tennis center (across from the police department) on Molly Barr for free, and it's about a mile walk from there. Haven't had any issues doing that yet.

Dating myself a bit but I remember the days of a thousand cars parked on the shoulder of highway 6.

It was like the Rapture on game days.

Dating myself even more, but I remember riding in my dad’s pickup truck into the Grove and popping the tailgate. I also had to tell my son the yearly “back in my day” story last night about how I didn’t get to go trick or treating because I was either in Jackson or Baton Rouge.

I liked the setup in the early 2000's of being able to park in the lot on the south side of the stadium for like $8. It was a pain to get out, but it was convenient enough where that didn't really matter.

We have season tickets with parking in the 1st level of the Pavilion. Get out of car and the entrance l gate is just outside the door.

I live about 4 miles from the stadium. My neighbor has a golf cart and I ride with him. It's glorious.

I'll probably park over at the Oxford Intermediate. It used to be free, but I guess they figured out that they were giving the milk away and now charge $40.
It's a mile walk, but the walking path makes it an easy one, plus it's really easy to loop the grove in on it. Another upside is that it's usually easy to get out of after the game, plus, as of last night, you could still reserve spots it seemed. You do a Google form, and they email you back with the Venmo.

For that money, you can probably get closer, but I hate hunting around off Jackson Ave for parking on game day just to save 1/2 a mile of walking.
