Well… I guess we can’t use the

‘P’ word for ‘psycho’ out of respect for people with psychotic disorders also ‘loony’, ‘mad’, ‘nutter’…

‘M’ word for ‘maniac’ out of respect for people with bipolar disorder

‘S’ word for ‘schizo’ out of respect for schizophrenia

Also can’t use ‘on the spectrum’, ‘OCD’, ‘handicap’ in golf, ‘inbred’, ‘spaz’, ‘crip’, ‘nerd’, ‘borderline’, ‘anti-social’, ‘narcissist’, ‘demented’, ‘mental case’, ‘head case’… out of respect for people with those disorders and/or conditions.

Welcome…Also… I am not sure how big or extensive is the angiosarcoma on his forehead, but the ENT surgeons will be pretty aggressive in removing the sarcoma with clear wide margins plus regional lymph nodes, in other words, they will possibly remove a good part of his forehead, maybe face, cutting down to the lymph nodes is his neck….

So in these 3 weeks, he better get his stuff in order, be with his family, take a bunch of pictures, let them remember what he looked like before the surgery…

Maybe a little dramatic… but these radical dissections can be pretty brutal.

The ENT will surgically remove the sarcoma, the surrounding tissue, and regional lymph nodes. ENTs are surgically trained for these procedures.

The specimens are sent to a pathologist to determine if the resected edges are clean and if the regional lymph nodes are clean of cancer cells.

A radiologist will probably do PET scan to determine distal metastasis.

Then the oncologist will take all the information to stage the cancer. Based on the staging, a treatment plan can be developed.

It's a cascade on medical professionals, you can't just skip directly to an oncologist
The public is in danger of falling into the whole COVID doomsday hysteria again... believing that the illness is a death sentence because of the media hype.

According to the CDC, this current 'outbreak' in 2024-2025 resulted in only 2 deaths: 1 confirmed death from measles, and 1 death under investigation.

They did not know she had measles.

Measles is so rare and most doctors < 70 y.o. probably never seen a live case of the illness... thanks to the vaccine.

If the doctor suspected measles, the little girl would be immediately hospitalized and placed in isolation. The R0 for measles at 12-18 which makes measles ridiculously contagious especially in a community of Mennonites with low vaccination rates.

The pre-Y2K conspiracies and doomsday hysteria were the best...

Many long nights of studying during med school with Art Bell in the background, the Midnight Express soundtrack intro to his show usually signaled the last 2 hours of studying before needing to sleep.
Uh... by "slept" she meant "intercourse", there is more than one type and can be performed simultaneously... thus the men count may not be one-to-one.

went to doc to get shot to knock that out, no way I was going to just tough it out once the rash spread down there.

Exactly, easy solution: a steroid injection and/or steroid dose pak, a steroid topical cream for the affected area, maybe anti-itch meds like hydroxyzine... much better than trying to tough it out.

The Grove and the circle will be packed. It's crowded for non-SEC games. With Georgia coming and SEC Nation on campus this weekend, finding a place in the Grove will be difficult, if not impossible.

Also, there's a 90% chance of rain. So not sure if tailgating will be all that fun. Better to watch at a sports bar.
A lot of Japanese 'anime' studios would be a little nervous... just saying...

Or want their children to have even the slightest hint of independence?

Remember when we were growing up, our parents (at least my parents) would want us to check in once we got to wherever we were going? Or we would get calls from our parents if they have not heard from us for a while? Or when we were leaving somewhere especially long distances, we had to call them so they would know when to expect us?

Well, ife360 eliminated those phone calls and check-ins for my teens, so I would argue that life360 provide them with more freedom and independence.

She is not addicted to sex; she is addicted to attention

She perceives that the only way that she is getting attention is through sex.

She will binge food as a substitute for the attention she is craving.

She's sad and will not end well...
Won't it be funny that this had nothing to do with Israel, but Lebanon had just gotten a shitty batch of cheap pagers from China sweat shops?

So, for 12 hours this guy was trying to conceal behind the bushes next to the golf course... in a salmon-colored shirt?

The SS agent saw the barrel of the gun because the barrel was right next to a guy in a pink shirt!!!

Someone needs a human anatomy refresher...
When I was younger, I would power through these minor sinus, upper respiratory infections, even bronchitis, walking pneumonia for weeks before seeking medical treatment.

Now that I'm older, I tend to be less hesitant especially if treatment is as easy as getting a Z-pak.
