The UT-OU game will say a lot about where these programs are.

We're both 2nd tier, which is pretty obvious given we've collectively had chances with OM, bama & UGA.

However, this November will carry a lot of momentum for either one of us next year. Also, if either team wins out (we comin' vandy), there's a chance one could take the backdoor into the playoff.

Also, I can guarantee you we'll win the annoying song trophy and you'll hear Rocky Top more than Boomer Sooner

Should be a great game

We will see if we can break our magic number of 26 points. The vols will score more than that.

I think this will be a close one. Don't like the trend of us not being able to run the football.

I am much more concerned with the trend of us not being able to cover/tackle. We couldn’t keep the local little league team out of the end zone.

I'm already assuming we give up points. But if we can't run the ball our defense won't even be able to get the few stops they actually do get per game that will allow us to win.

Yeah, we need more balance.

You can be unbalanced against bad teams but <4.0 yds a carry certainly won't work against them:
1. KY: 3.3
2. UGA: 3.7
3. MSU: 4.1
4. Bama: 4.3

Should be a great test for our offense. Luckily, I think ole Neyland will help us a lot.

Looks like Tennessee is going to be down all three DBs now plus leading tackler. Not a recipe for a successful defensive performance.

Not sure what Ole Miss has done to be in a higher tier than us. Beaten the same teams and lost to same team. Does anyone think Ole Miss woulda won in Tuscaloosa?

The OM comment is fair...I think they're a step down from Bama, UGA, and A&M...and I don't know if they're actually better than us.

I think A&M is the only team that *could* win in Tuscaloosa, but OM, no way

We need this game.

We need the win. We need the QB to perform well.

Defense will be solid

WR are getting open

Robinson is a effective at RB

We have a chance but need our QB to reappear

I am an Aggie, but I will NEVER refer to that game using that PC renaming.

"Shootout" is was, and "Shootout" it will remain.

I see what you are doing VFL, setting us up to trick Mateer into abandoning the short passing game and get him throwing downfield.

Here's a newsflash for you, Mateer already did that, watch OU's last drive against OM.

In some ways Oklahoma is a better team than last year but this game is at your stadium and OU has lost so many from the OL that there are two freshmen playing now.

Heupel is going to please the home crowd.

No such thing. And he said UT.

Not sure how you got this so confused, honestly.

Rocky Top!

Vs

Boomer Sooner!

Can’t imagine sitting between those two bands in this one.

Should be a great game though.
