As I said above, there is obviously a fraction of a second when she is facing the camera as her head turns to her right.

False. This claim has been traced back to random Twitter account. There is NO RECORD of any such claim of abuse, prior to the ICE incident.

Honest question. Why do you people feel the need to demonize the "other side" with proven lies? It is just strange.quote:
This woman ran someone over because she thinks she’s fighting Nazis. Why do you guys keep pushing this lie?
If you want my speculation as to why the far Left make that sort of claim, I attribute it to ignorance. They tend to use the term "Nazi" to describe anyone doing anything that they do not like. Much like the far Right uses the term "Marxist."
So, now please answer MY questions.
Why do Trumpists keep repeating the lie that Good and/or her wife were investigated for child abuse, when there is ZERO record ANYWHERE of such an investigation?
And why do you not CORRECT those who make that bogus claim, when you see it? Why do you not want an HONEST debate regarding this incident?

The Congressional GOP wants to shut down a federal court, because they don't like some of the judge's rulings.

This is undeniable and undebatable.
Care to amend your position?
I see exactly what I have already described, because THAT is what happened.

This may mean something, and it may not.
The "registered address" is just the place to send official mail and accept service of process, in most states. It is entirely possible that there are dozens of trucks on the road, being dispatched by a guy with a cell phone.
Or it might be completely fraudulent. Just not enough info.

Do you really think it is unreasonable for a ranching state to pass a law requiring drivers to slow down near a cattle drive?
When I was a kid, we had one pasture for which the only access to the corrals was to herd a few hundred head down the Farm-to-Market road (2-lane highway, for non-Texans) for about 2 miles.
We would put people on each end of the stretch with flags and such, and some idiot would STILL ignore them and come blazing up to the herd at 70mph.
It is a near-miracle that none of those dipshits ever hit a cow and got themselves killed.

So the takeaway here is that if an officer is approaching your driver side door ordering you to exit the vehicle, it's ok to drive off? And if a second officer is in front of your car, it's ok to hit him as long as you are traveling at low rate of speed? Noted
If you want to argue about the legalities of the matter, that thread is two doors down, on the right.

I suspect that the overwhelming majority of those changes are explained by Whites moving to the separately-incorporated suburbs.
For the entire metropolitan areas, the White:Black ratios have probably not changed much, but the Latino percentages have probably increased markedly.

Looking at it without equations, I suppose I CAN see acceleration mattering to some extent, because the force/momentum (or whatever) applied by an accelerating vehicle to a smaller object (such as the agent) would continue to increase with continued acceleration after impact, versus remaining static with a vehicle at constant velocity, right?

quote:You are younger than I, and your physics classes are doubtless much more recent.
I will admit I’ve been long away from classical physics, but I am having a hard time wrapping my mind around acceleration not having any impact (no pun intended) on force in this scenario. Is there an “impact force” equation? Otherwise, it seems like you are mixing up force with energy (I reserve the right to admit I’m wrong here )
I don't know about you, but my introductory physics classes were much more about memorizing formulas than about understanding the practical implications of those formulas.

quote:Possible. Maybe even "likely," because Good's vehicle would have been moving forward sooner, while the agent was still more in the front-center of the hood area.
She might well have run over him on a dry surface.
In that case, the agent's use or deadly force would be more-clearly justified, too.
