We're moving down to FCS / 1-AA in football.

We'd like to remain as an auxiliary member of the SEC in basketball and baseball however and still share in all the benefits of Southeastern Conference money and prestige.
Also, in football, we would like to be officially remembered as a beloved former SEC football power, who contributed many years of glorious memories for all of you and your children and grandchildren.
We have been in contact with 15 other institutions who are eager to form a 1-AA conference with us given our historical relevance. Here it is:
1. Arkansas
2. Lindenwood
3. Southern Nazarene (currently DII but accepting of our offer to move up)
4. Stephen F. Austin (our new rival)
5. East Texas A&M
6. Northwestern State in Natchitoches
7. Alcorn State
8. Millsaps (NAIA Division 7 but willing to move up)
9. North Alabama
10. Samford
11. Austin Peay
12. Sewanee (another former SEC football power, just like us)
13. Murray State
14. West Georgia College
15. Wofford
16. Florida Gators (also moving down to 1-AA in football with us)

Please take Brokelahoma with you.
They can be a big budget team down in 1-AA and outspend everyone drastically on players, just like they did in the Big 8.

Y’all can compete with ND state and Montana and South Dakota state. I enjoy those games. Arky would be a breath of fresh air amidst all those northern schools dominating

The mega conference concept has completely failed several fan bases.
I.E. Oklahoma is the new Nebraska
It is now all about corporate media ratings and point spreads.
