LSU's game environment already sucks. Glad to see the Admins putting the final nail in the coffin.

They pay $750 for parking! Anyone else pay that much? We are only paying $210 at A&M, no matter what lot (big donors get closest), but all that money goes to Transportation Services for parking lot maintenance, rather than to the AD, so there is no incentive to really squeeze us on parking.

I mean the Tiger Rant all week was like "woudl yall pay extra to fund the buyout?"

Someone in the AD must have read that

Might be the difference between firing him in 2026 vs 2027

At South Carolina I have season tickets but never buy parking because the closer you get to the stadium the bigger of a cluster it is leaving after the game. I figured out a long time ago to pay $20 and walk a mile, when the game is over (or in pissed off and leave early because we are sucking it up) I’m far enough away from the gridlock around the stadium that leaving is no problem. Let the rich people and their fancy parking sit there, I’m going my arse home.

Alabama's been doing the same. I know a lot of Tide Pride members who have said ENOUGH, and cancelled their memberships.

I can honestly say I have never once gave any fricks on what another school prices.

Yet, here we are, a bama fan posting about LSU.

They're going to have 45000 people in a 100000 capacity stadium if they keep this shite up.

A&M has a ton of parking on campus though with several garages and lots of open lots, they make their money on donations to keep the rights to your seats and they made that an even bigger cash cow because when they rebuilt Kyle they bought out all the grandfathered folks and everyone is now on 10 and 15 year packages that they renew with a crazy amount of premium seating. Kyle is just a giant cash machine.

A&M also has all the demographics working in our favor. 72k students, 550k living alumni and located in between the 4 major metros of DFW, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio with more than 25 million people within about 3 hours. We also have high income grads because of being such a big engineering school and the premier O&G school that dominates Houston. It's almost impossible to frick up that revenue stream and attendance which is why we have still put 100k plus with mediocre results. The key for us was to get the classes from the 80s and 90s when the school exploded in size to prime donor age and we are there now and it's only getting bigger. Money and attendance is not going to be our problem in my lifetime.

LSU's not unique in this, but why & how did college administrators become so tone deaf? And, if not, then are they really OK with trading corporate buying up higher priced tickets in exchange for bare spots in the stadium?

Is that per game or for the entire season ticket? Either one isn’t good but if it’s per game, I’d tell them to kiss every hair on my arse twice just for thinking about that kind of increase.

LSU's game environment already sucks.

It’s one of the most overrated experiences in college sports.

Add $100 what does it cost now? Plus, how much do you have "donate" to even qualify for those seats? I haven't bought tickets in a number of years but the donation requirements were getting ridiculous. You could spend $1,500 just to hang onto one the light standards as your premium seating.

Idiot fans. I quit going to games in 2018. I'll occasionally go to an Air Force Academy game but those are like $25 a piece.

With TV now, I get the best seat in the house, as many drinks as I want and the best food in Colorado Springs (honestly, the restaurant food here sucks, can't lie).

And I get to hold court in these here game threads with decent fans (as best as one can hope really)

Just for the game, I agree but if you do go, you have to tailgate and mix it up with the LSU fans (irl, I really do like hanging with them) for the whole day and then honestly, it's worth it.
