Ok… so Vi is out at Tenn and now I see that FL’s coach is on personal leave too?

Shake up in the SEC. How’s everybody else feeling about baseball this year? Chime in for season and SEC expectation!

I wanna see us at least back to the CWS; Minimum Super Regional and possible SEC champ.

I see LSU is ready to start baseball talk.

Can't you at least beat Aggie first?

We have the same record as Texas.

Feeling good about State with BOC at the helm. This is our most talented roster in a while too.

I am always ready to talk baseball. I also acknowledge that our FB team is a piece of - this year and I’m not going to watch a bad product.

Seems weird you’re not excited about Baseball season. This was a check in post to see how people were feeling about thier season. I just saw the FL post. That makes two big name programs with unexpected coaching changes just before the season starts

Kendall Rogers said he was told Sully should be back later in the Fall, so we shall see.

We should be very good this year. I’d be shocked if we weren’t top 10/15 all year.

Should be fun

I can only handle so much excitement. Right now its football.

Baseball excitement begins in February.

I take a breather in January. It will be a much needed breather this year.

I think if UT promotes Elander, the Vols will be just fine. He was Tony's right hand man for 8 seasons. Hopefully we don't lose recruits and keep the ball rolling

I would probably promote Elander for the same reason; however, there are never guarantees.

Smoke Laval was Skip's right hand man, actually hand picked as his HCIW a year before he retired. He fell on his face once the talent dried out and was fired after 4 seasons.

Chad Holbrook was Ray Tanner's right hand man during USC's long-run as a yearly title contender. He never made it to Omaha and was fired after 5 years

You just never know even if things look like they should be so simple for a smooth and seamless transition.

I expect these teams to be top half of the SEC with a good shot to host regionals:

LSU
Arkansas
Texas
MSU
Georgia
Auburn
Tennessee
Florida

Teams I think will make the NCAAt

Bama
Vandy
Ole Miss
A&M
OU

That's 13 quality teams. This conference is a freaking buzzsaw

State is pretty loaded offensively. Less proven on the mound but plenty of talent there.

Should unquestionably be the best State team since 2021. Would be disappointing if they are not a Top 8 or at least a Top 16 seed at year-end.

Postseasons are so unpredictable so I won’t go as far to say Omaha or bust. But State doesn’t lose at home in the postseason very often, so if they are playing at Dudy Noble in June, the expectation will be to win at home.

About the only thing MIZ had to talk shite on was the fact Vitello was MIZ alum and mizzou born and raised, now that’s gone. Sub basement for MIZ this year

I think Mizzou wins it all in Omaha, no doubt

Went to a Ms State scrimmage the other day. VERY IMPRESSED! BOC is running a tight ship and the team looked really good!
