Penn vs Boise
Oh St vs Oregon
Arizona st vs Tx
GA Vs ND

Anyone else think this looks like the old Conference Champs weekend before the big shuffles this year?

So in other words next year, just make it to the championship game in your conference, or be the highest rated team not going to a conference championship.

So every year two conferences will have 3 teams in except if we have to include a team like ND!

So can anyone do some digging to find out the # of these penalties in the SEC? Which teams seem to be called more, etc… It just seems so ridiculous that LSU is so “undisciplined” as to have 3-5 of these PER game. We have had so much trouble with these issues since they started calling penalties starting several years ago.

I think we’re going to see 2 Big12, 2 Big10, 2 ACC, and 2 SEC and 2 west coast teams, the other 3 will probably include an 1 SEC team every other year possibly.

Why does everyone keep ignoring TX loss to Oklahoma? Yes the win H2H is important, but TX has a conference loss, and didn’t beat the #1 ranked team. You are saying Texas’s win over bama in wk 2 is more impressive than last nights win over the #1 ranked GA?

Are you really that obtuse? This weekend was the deciding factor. It will be GA vs AL. Jesus, and people think LSU fans are the epitome of stupid and negative when they have a good/great team.

This in a nutshell is the game. Can our D actually step up and get more stops then AL can. We won’t score 50 on Bama, but we CAN score 30+.

After reading all this crap, still can’t wrap my head around this one… I also considered it, but I grew up and have a firm grasp of reality. Riley will NEVER hire a competent DC. He doesn’t care. He would never have done so at LSU and you’d now be complaining about being boatraced or blown out the SEC defenses.

This is very much true… undefeated Washington would have wins over many once or currently ranked top 10 teams. Think LSU in 19 we played almost all of the ranked or once ranked top ten teams that year. OK’s loss is huge for everyone with potential to steal a conference championship and possibly snipe a playoff spot. These late teams would show the committee a rising improved team from the beginning of the year.

If true, it's like I've been saying for years. SEC wants TA&M to be LSU's primary rival...been pushing it day 1 and nothing really happened till 7-OT. I don't like it either... It's Bama, OM, FL...

even if he doesn't "like" you, he will still always pick you to win the West bc he see the juggernaut that Saban built and sees it happening at GA now too. He's a little harsher on the Teams that deserve it bc he can tell how good they could be... ALA, GA, LSU, AUB, TEN, FLA, A&M, Ole Miss etc...

Not a bad way to do it... though I wonder if we should use CWS tournament games win % as the appropriate metric... Some people had easier roads to the CWS. What if you used Championship efficiency as your aggregate? Just curious...
