Holy crap. Watch DeBoer in this video of the walkout against Tenn. The rumors were true.

Dude looks like he’s ready to run through a brick wall. I love this shite!!

When he punches the goal post it looked like he wanted to suit up. Attitude is different!

Love hearing the production side. So much more goes into this than we as fans realize.

DeBoer is a demon in that black hoodie. The grim reaper for anyone on the opposing sideline.

I think he is figuring out the kind of energy the team needs from him, which then helps the whole team have energy.

GREAT video

Go watch the production audio on the 72nd hole when Tiger won the Masters.

It’s unbelievable.

Nick's swagger was very strictly business. And honestly, I don't think he was ever a public "rah rah" guy even as a young 30 something assistant. Not his DNA. For example, for the Walk of Champions, his policy was always for the team to keep calm and not jump around and high five folks as this was just the walk to work. In fact, at away games, he'd often make sure players would get off the bus away from fans when he could help it. His stoic attitude certainly worked when you have a handful of rings to back it up, and of course we see echos of Bryant in it.....

but not gonna lie... I do like seeing a younger guy more comfortable with matching the game day energy and letting the guys let loose.

The rebrand was necessary. Alabama has a significant portion of the west coast inside everything from the sports programs all the way to the student body and administration. Having 8 prime time games a year on average under Nick Saban for 15 years made Alabama essentially a professional brand. Having synergy with Kalen and Byrne is a thing of beauty.

Seems like he's finally left that left coast dude bro attitude behind. He's smart enough enough to know that ain't gonna work when you're the other teams Super Bowl every week. The SEC is the ultimate grind & you can't ever relax.

He's getting settled in and that's a good thing. He's going to be an excellent coach for The Crimson Tide for years to come. Hopefully he will turn into one of the great ones and get his statue.

I think Ty is a big part of him looking like a great coach right now. I know his record speaks for itself outside the SEC. I believe in him and hope he’s growing as a coach, but Ty is making lots of people look good right now.

Great players make coaches look good and this has always been the case. This situation is no different. You can't win the Kentucky Derby with a pack mule. Talent matters, players matter. Saban even said this. He wanted the most talented players he could get because you can't coach more talent into a player. Bad talent make coaches' and their systems look bad and great talent makes them look like geniuses.

I mean, DeBoer had guys running wide open on nearly every play last year and his QB couldn't see them. Ty is playing at an elite level, but having a QB that at the very least knows where his receivers are or are going to be already makes a massive difference.

It seems like Ty doesn't have as many guys running wide open as Milroe did. Maybe he does. But I see Ty making a lot of high difficulty throws to guys who are not really open and completing them.

I just think you had a head coach, OC and DC who had never one of them coached a down in the SEC. The SEC is the NFL of college football. I realize there are other good programs out there but none of them have to play top level competition almost every week. No matter how good they were coming in there is a different level of competition here and they are just going to get their nose blooded here. The good ones are going to get off the mat and get mean. I'd say that was not the case when Saban arrived, I'd say the SEC is what it is today BECAUSE of Saban. He created this monster.

Additionally due to the way things ended under Saban and how so much of the roster left and how we filled in from the portal we didn't have many players who really knew what it was like to win in the SEC.

Together they are all putting it together. What I find most frustrating is that i KNOW that there is way more this offense can do. They are so close to really going nuclear. I hope they can put those last pieces together because if they do Alabama is going to be hard to beat.

Consistency in the run blocking is what's keeping this Alabama offense from being unstoppable. If they could ever get to the point where they could consistently open holes and quit allowing so much penetration, this offense would be unstoppable.
