Kiffen has never stayed anywhere long enough to build a consistent winning program.

Yet every year his name is at the top of the new hire coaching lists. The joke is on any program that hires him. He's never satisfied and always is looking for greener pastures elsewhere.
Buyer beware. He's a program jumper, not a program builder.

He’s like the third longest tenured coach in SEC

tRant logic about Nick Saban circa 2007 through 2015/16.

The dude is in year 6 at Ole Miss.

He is in his sixth season at Ole Miss. He is on his way to his fourth double digit win season and third in a row. Ole Miss has had four 10 win seasons in the past 50 years. Kiffin is responsible for three of them the last four seasons. He will do it again this season. He has turned Ole Miss, Ole Miss, into something they haven’t been for over 50 years - nationally relevant.
Kiffin has turned a perennial doormat into a nationally relevant winning program.
Meanwhile, your guy has turned a nationally relevant program into a series of gifs and memes.

How many SEC titles does he have? How many NC's has he taken Ole Miss to? No one is talking about a dynasty in the making at Ole Miss.

It takes time to build something. He will eventually get over the hump here. It may even be this year

1) Tennessee to USC. This is the one that the rant and other casuals point to when saying “he’s a job hopper! He never stays in one place long!”
2) FAU to Ole Miss. Was there for 3 years and won the C-USA 2 of those years before leaving for an obviously better job in the SEC.
He has been here for 6 seasons now and people still act like he’s going to job hop at the first opportunity. The rant shows how little its posters actually know about the game and its coaches with threads like this. Especially when it comes to Kiffin

He’s been around long enough to spell his name correctly, though.

I have fond memories of watching that go down that night. He left so abruptly...lots of angry fans, vandalism, some things on fire.

I don’t blame LSU fans for trying new, inventive coping mechanisms after Saturday. But trashing a coach that already beat them this season is a strange method.

You are ao wrong go check his documentary out educate yourself when he was younger yes he bolted for usc but that came back to haunt him he hasn't been a jumper since bama he was a assistant of course he is going to go take a head coach job

Different times now with the 12 team playoff. Mullen would've made it 3/4 years here.

Did he raise the bar at ole miss or did the portal/nil lower the bar at other programs. I think he’s a good coach but he’s being given a little more credit than due. They don’t look better than freeze’s ole miss squads. But who is to say they wouldn’t be competitive now. What would this ole miss squad look like compared to Bobby p arky les miles lsu and saban bama

I would not be upset if he came to State, though that’s a 10,000 to 1 chance….
