I hope y'all were treated well other than the score of the game and enjoyed the weekend. I heard Texas fans were great which is odd because we are used to LSU/Tennessee type fans.

I only saw one pair in our usual tailgate lot. Stayed in their rental car the entire time. Tried to offer them water, booze, and food but they seemed to just wanna be left alone in their vehicle.

Kinda weird, but their choice. We were all friendly and just hoping for a decent game.

Those two were long gone by the time I made it back to the lot post-game. Didn’t have any sitting in our section at the stadium so that was my only encounter with any Longhorns all day.

Really wanted to go, but couldn’t get away this time. That said, my Aggie vet grandfather had a practice in Gainesville and taught at UF, my uncle lettered there & I’m a big believer in Lagway. So, rooting for y’all the rest of the way!

They usually don’t come out of their shell unless they see a trans flag flying. They think they’re going to get killed anywhere that isn’t flying one. Very odd.

They were locals. Y'all are aware that graduates and/or fans of schools are spread all over the country right?

Not sure how that is at all relevant to the story. We saw two folks in Longhorns gear. Tried to be nice and hospitable. They were not having it, apparently.

Yes, you may be surprised to learn I am well aware there are fans of both schools all over the country and, shocker, all over the world as well.

Obviously they are by and large biased towards UNT but I imagine the folks in Gainesville would be hospitable to Texas fans

Outside of LSU you have the worst game day fans, been to both, hell ND fans would put your both to shame and I have been there. Never been to UTX but I have been to OU. OU fans just ignore you like they don't have time.

Trust me... They were in their car saying... 'Gainesville is nice... but Austin is better". "The Florida campus is nice but UT is better." "Ben Hill Griffin stadium is nice... but DKR is better". ... "The state of Florida is nice but Texas is better." "Florida is a good school... but Texas is better".

Do you check under your bed and the closet, looking for longhorns, before going to bed at night? You might have a condition.

What’s funny is IF you grew up in athletics and love college football it’s highly unlikely you agree with trans ideology so assuming Texas football fans are the same as the liberal students on UT campus is hilariously stupid

General consensus seems to be they really enjoyed their time (other than the outcome).

Some of the comments about the environment are interesting considering I'd probably give it like a 7 out of 10 at best. Got decently loud at times, but still no where near when the place is rocking for games between 2 great teams.
