A little bird says it's a lock, 100% certain with no question.

You heard it here first.

The source:

I genuinely hope he plays. I don’t want to hear “we would’ve won if Mateer played” for the next 12 months.

Mr. Chin Pubes is the one who followed potential recruits into restrooms. We will not bring up his arrest record either.

I dont know about that…. Opposable thumbs are important for a QB. It probably depends on what Hawkins looks like this Saturday. If Hawkins connects with the first team WRs I expect Hawkins would start versus Texass…Or maybe the Sooners run the wishbone…Texass should prep for the bone…

Why are his eyes so close together?

He looks like a downsy Gypsy.

That right eye is crossing over the center line.

Liucci is not saying this.

It's a random poster on TexAgs who says he lives in Oklahoma and saw Mateer in a fast food place the other day. Cashier asked if he was alright, and Mateer said he'd be back for the Texas game. This is all according to a random poster. Might be true, might not.

This place is unbearable sometimes. I am simply telling people where the rumor started. One poster wrongly claimed Liucci has reported that, and I corrected that post by saying where it came from.

I have no opinion at all about whether Mateer starts against Texas. I know almost nothing about it.

Doubtful. Texas isn’t worth risking injuring Mateer again when we need him more than ever for our backloaded end of the schedule.

I don't actually believe that he even had surgery. I don't trust OU's staff at all. I fully expect him to play, but if he doesn't, then he doesn't.

Either way, if Texas wins, it will be because Mateer didn't play or that we got lucky because he wasn't at full strength..

You people are silly.

When has Oklahoma ever reported an injury to a player and it turned out to be some sort of head-fake?

He had surgery on a broken metacarpal on his right hand.

This is the exact moment it happened.

He is has profited off Aggie lunacy for decades, good for him for finding a niche to bank.

We have our own moron who did the same with UT fans int he early message board days.
