Are you a little worried that the team that was so badly exposed by ND in Fayetteville was a late fumble from beating yall at your place?

Or are you encouraged by the fact that your overall schedule is the weakest in the league?

It's Ole Miss. This was their Super Bowl. They know they won't make the playoffs. They'll lose to UGA, OU and probably MSU.

Let em celebrate, it's the biggest thing they've won since 2003.

I mean, not something we'd rush the field over.

Beating LSU at home is expected under LK, no field storming anymore for that game. Bless your hearts though, yall get all excited and come a running. Like you just won your super bowl!

Arkansas and staff already tossed in the towel for ND.

You have got to be a little worried that you could only score 16 against Auburn though right? At home... Woof... Even Baylor was able to get in the 20's.

Congratulations, Ole Miss

You’ve won so much that other fanbases are officially coping about your success by whining about your schedule

Arkansas had a pulse and belief in that game. You can say what you want but that matters. Taylon Green played lights out.

We did only give up 7 points in the 2nd half. That seems to be the turning point of our season.

Our defense is a worry but our offense seems to be elite. But Pete Goulding has been really good so I trust him to do what he needs to.

I said before the season 8-4 or 9-3 but this was assuming losses to LSU/UGA and toss ups with OU/SC/UF. We beat LSU and the toss ups of SC and UF are looking more winnable than in the preseason.

So 10-2/9-3 looks likely. Also 11-1 is a possibility but I doubt that.

Let's see.

- It was our first game under a new QB.
- Our defense had bigger flaws then.
- Arkansas was still playing their best football at that point. The team just gave up against ND.

Since then, we fixed issues on both O and D. Our OL and DL play significantly improved since that game.

Plus, it's Ole Miss / Arkansas. Throw out the record books on that series.

Apple meet orange. That being said, here’s to seeing yall in Atlanta to sort this out the way we do things in Oxford, properly

Sure, I wish we would have beat them better than we did. However, I do recognize that Arkansas let their loss to us beat them twice when they lost to Memphis, and they let their loss to Memphis beat them twice when they lost to Notre Dame. There's more context to their loss to us than "Oh Ole Miss only beat Arkansas by 6, Ole Miss must not be very good." Our late-game heroics sent Arkansas into a downward spiral that forced them to fire their coach, so this point doesn't make sense

We've beaten three SEC opponents (one of them ranked in the top 5) and a Tulane team that's going to win 9+ games. We would be playing Southern Cal in two weeks if they hadn't pulled out of their matchup with us. I understand where you're going with this, but we can only play who is on our schedule

stats typically correct themselves as the season goes on. Thankfully, our defense was able to finally play a team that helped bring their stats down closer to where it should be.

Arky clearly quit on the staff after the Memphis game.

Plus, with the way that game went, if Arkansas scored, we probably would have as well. Instead, we got the turnover and ran out the clock.

You’re not that knew to the SEC.

Have you never paid attention to the Ole Miss vs. Arkansas series?

I wouldn't be worried.

Transitive property doesn't work for sports. That Arkansas team completely quit vs ND. They didn't quit vs Ole Miss.

It was a compounding effect of a tough loss vs Ole Miss, a horrendous loss vs Memphis, and a team that simply gave no effort once ND started to pull away.

Honestly I think OM took a lot of life out of Arky. They focused on that strip fumble all week. Then let Memphis hang with him and they let it happen to them again. They then gave up on the season.

You can thank Ole Miss for striking the fatal wound that later killed version 1.0 of Arky 2025 football.

A lot of y’all don’t seem to understand that playing these teams at different points in the year gives you different challenges. You don’t understand football if you think the Arky team ND played was as challenging as the version Ole Miss played.
