A Weird feeling about firing Pittman.
Close loss to OM - unless you think they are overrated after what they did to LSU -
Crap loss to Memphis - that was dumb game management by Petrino.
ND game was the only one they looked overmatched in.

We would have saved around $3M if we waited 4 more weeks. We have a bye this week then it would take the 3 straight losses.

I’m old enough to remember the scandalous headlines when we paid a Jackie $1 million (over 4 years).

From what I understand he has a mitigation clause where he has to find work. But, he just wants to retire and has negotiated the buyout down to get rid of the mitigation clause. At least that is the rumor

Possibly the best OL Coach in College Football. Wonder if the buyout has any clauses about him taking non-HC positions at other schools. If so...maybe he would like to be a "consultant/analyst" for someone. Not that he will need the money, but I think with his personality he won't like sitting around and not working on something.

I don’t know why he would have negotiated in finding another job when he said this would be his last job.
