The HBCUs bands started playing Neck back in the 70’s. Today, it’s everywhere. LSU made it notorious, and it made me smile seeing Ole Miss use their profane lyrics against them!

I mean historically you’re correct, the series hasn’t been terribly competitive. Nor has Ole Miss’s history in terms of winning anything of significance
