This is what Ole Miss and LSU are fighting for on Saturday. This fine piece of laminate and an ornate magnolia blossom with a paper thin alloy plaque. What a fine piece of hardware the winner will take home on Saturday.

Oh damn. Still the worst trophy in da game. You would think Kiffin would just go out of his own pocket to buy something nicer at the Trophy Shop.

The first one the student body at LSU came up with looked like a penis.

Ugliest trophy out there. The loser should be forced to have to take it and put it on display.

Magnolia bowl is a dumb name. Completely unnecessary invention.

Do they award it to the winning team after the game? Bama and Auburn play for the Foy Sportsmanship Trophy every year. It does not change hands until the winning team plays the other at home during basketball though if I’m not bad mistaken.

Ole Miss’ only trophy

Yeah the OPs post would leave most to believe that the current owner of such a "pristine" trophy is that of the ole piss land shark black bear rebels and that it's a trophy case fixture in a place that some refer to as "the SIP".

However, win or lose, LSU let's that keep up with the dusting of that trophy because we needed space for a couple nattys and Heisman trophies.

The budget for the trophy was probably in the 10s of dollars.
