That being said, it would not surprise me at all for some weird sharknado type shite to happen and somehow USCe wins in like a 4 OT type game.

I appreciate the optimism, but these games always seem to be tight and wild. Hopefully, it's a fun (for Mizzou fans) and injury free game.

Drink's done a great job of getting them up and prepard for each game.

That said, most Mizzou-SC games have been memorable.

SCAR better hope Sellers can play.

Shula gave them absolutely no chance with Doty in the game.

Beamer has not, and if you look at his career at USC, he chokes when the team has hype and surprises when they are supposed to suck. Season expectations that is.

I fully expect something like a tornado to drop out of the sky to alter the direction of a last second field goal anytime we play Missouri.

I fully expect Missouri to run for over 300 yards against us this game.

but he also has typically bounced back when the chips are down. He did to end 2022 after a bad UF game. He did last year after losing tough ones to LSU and Bama.

Anything can (and will) happen in the battle for the Mayors Cup. I anticipate a fun game that keeps both fanbases on the edge of their seats.

We’ll have hell to pay here if we drop this one due to idiots on here like Faurot fodder, mattieo, and OP.

South Carolina at #11 last week was severely overrated. Think Illinois at #9 this week.

happy for Vandy and glad they got them when they did so it looks like a big win, but USCe is a bottom feeder in the conference.

Shane sucks in September. Has since he's been here.

But I wouldn't be surprised to see the team in much better shape heading into Red Stick.

This is extremely reminiscent of the Ole Miss game last year. Look for a surprise this weekend and don't be shocked when we go down to Baton Rouge and kick the corndogs in the jimmies.

It does, to an extent. They played much better vs Bama, but still lost, and Bama wasn't very good. Mizzou is good, and Drink hates us, so I don't think we'll catch them napping or anything.

We'll see. Maybe SC puts together a full game, and plays well, and gives Mizzou a serious scare. But I'm not putting my trailer rent on it.

South Carolina ranks last in basically every offensive category in the SEC. What makes you think we will suddenly figure it out against a solid Missouri team and Eli? He owns us

I don't necessarily but I've seen it 3 times out of Beamer teams now. Look awful and then beat people out of nowhere. But yeah Drink owns us and I'm more confident in beating LSU than Mizzou

Yep. Y'all gonna beat them like a rented mule. Contrary to anything Cock fans say, Vandy was beating them soundly before Sellers went out. They will deny it, but Vandy just simply outmanned them all game long.
