I was glad to see it. He does appear to be getting better with each game. The OL is a concern: especially the right side. Maybe we get our starters back after 2 weeks in time for Bama. All in all they played a lot better than I had anticipated. Going into that stadium and that environment and coming out with a W is no small feat. Also impressed with Gunners demeanor. Down 8 at the end and I didn't see one bit of anxiousness on his face. Another 'no small feat.'

24-31, 308 yds, 2 tds, no picks. Not bad in the environment

He is progressing in his development. He is a winner unlike many of our loser fans.

I'd like to see stats on how many times he was pressured and/or forced to run out of the pocket. His poise was excellent.

A couple of times he pulled and ran too early with a clean pocket, but it certainly seemed to have improved.

This was only his fourth collegiate start and his first true road game.

He tossed that first pass down field and signed into rant and just posted two eye balls.

i felt like i was watching him grow up in that 2nd half. He was keeping his eyes downfield on rollout and also stepping up in the pocket for some longer throws. Very please with Gunner

Definitely passed a major test and showed growth. There will be more growth in the weeks after this game. This was the one game that concerned me most on our schedule.

O line still needs some improvement in pass protection, think we gave up 4 sacks? But the 4th down throw to Humphreys was money!!

I think by the end of the season those passes like the one he overthrew to Colby in the end zone will be completions. He played well enough for us to survive today. His confidence should be high.

I don’t think his performance today is getting nearly enough attention.

Tennessee scored 41 on us today. Overtime aside, if you had told me that pregame I would have expected to have lost, possibly badly. We won, largely because Gunner kept bringing us down the field.

That throw to Humphries is ridiculously clutch. That’s probably the only spot that ball could’ve been thrown and given the receiver a good chance at the catch. Couple that with it being a do-or-die 4th down and it’s one of the best throws I’ve seen a UGA quarterback make in a big late-game situation.

I agree with people in this thread he’s got some stuff to work on, but this Dawg’ll hunt, zero doubt.

His pocket presence was way better today and he made some dime throws like that late TD to London.

I'm more worried about Alabama and Texas. Some will disagree based on their games so far, but @ Auburn and Florida will be be challenges on the same level as Tennessee, IMO. But I think we'll be playing much better by the time those games roll around.

The Oline needs to get healthy. Hopefully the right side of the Oline will be ready in two weeks.

It kinda reminded me of Stafford to Henderson down in Tuscaloosa.
