Universities can't just move endowment money around as they wish. Almost all of that money is earmarked for specific programs, initiatives, and facilities due to donors' directives. The relatively tiny amounts that aren't earmarked keep libraries subscribed to resources and dorms from falling apart.

Beyond that, endowments aren't a measure of a university's willingness or capacity to fund football. That's why some institutions are investigating the desperate measure of private equity and considering spinning off their athletics as a for-profit entity.

Wow, time flies. I remember when his nickname was "Trouble" and he was kicked off the FSU team (perhaps scapegoated) so that Peter Warrick could get a slap on the wrist.

Glad to see he's doing well now. His story is a good reminder that few of us are the same person in our 40's and 50's that we were in our teens and 20's.

Guess they would've beaten unlv worse then

Ohio has won 40 games in 4 years, plays damn good defense, and has both beaten and frightened several decent P4 teams in recent years.

The mountain west, in turn, had its weakest year as a football conference in a very long time. Unlv was talented but inconsistent all year.

These ignorant sports app bettors are just a bunch of whiny dunces who desperately need to blame everyone else for their poor decisions.

Based on all the bitching I'm seeing on social media, that 99 TD drive wasn't meaningless.
The Oklahoma receivers have a legit professional career in Cirque du Soleil after playing with Mateer.
It's more likely that Alabama will lose to Oklahoma THREE times in the span of two seasons.

Wouldn't that be terrific?

Well these explain the high prevalence of addiction and abusive behavior.
Bevacqua strikes me as someone who never learned to write out all of his emotional issues and concerns in a word document and put it away for 24 hours.

With a day of separation, it's rare when you read something written in the heat of the moment and still think it's a good idea to voice.

Excellent question.

No, we need to worry about the islands sinking from trying to support the weight of drugs.

Guam will capsize

I love that he seems completely calm, professional, and in control during big moments. Due to that factor alone, it makes me feel a lot more confident going into big 3rd and 4th down situations.

Saban is really out to get the G5
Ultimately, I think that's all we're looking at... the committee is tired of trying to compare apples and oranges when it comes to Notre Dame.

Damn, this is sending a message to Notre Dame to join a conference.

They protected Georgia by assuring they won't meet Ohio State or Indiana until the Title Game

Can you not read a bracket? Georgia could easily play OSU in the semis and Indiana in the finals.

Have none of these teams never won a conference championship?

Not since integration.
What a hub for talent. First Cignetti takes half the team to Indiana and runs through Ohio State, Oregon, and the B1G.

Then they reload with Chesney and have a strong opportunity to enter the playoffs anyway.

Somehow he just lost the Heisman with that postgame interview

Forget the Heisman. I'd like to see a reality show with him and Diego Pavia sharing a house.
