Indeed it does. What I like about it is I’m an old AU fan who remembers those Auburn defenses under Pat Dye in the 80s and Tubberville in the early 2000s. I’ve missed those defenses.

Didn’t Baylor throw for over 400 yds against Aubie?

They did the same to #17 SMU in SMU’s backyard. Only difference though is that while Baylor beat SMU, Auburn beat Baylor in their own backyard by 2 touchdowns.

The next week Auburn only gave up 71 yard passing and -3 yards rushing to Ball State. It’s almost like sometimes units can improve from week 1 to week 2. Who knew?

I don't see where passing D was ranked.

I'm hoping that means the Sawyer Robertson kid is legit. Our pass D looked suspect, regardless...

Most of us are just happy to be playing cleaner football. Turnovers killed us last year.

Didn’t they lose by 2 TD at home while rushing the ball 24 times at 2.7 yards per carry?

Those stats will put you in the playoffs if you can maintain them AND throw in an average passing offense and defense.

They are also dead last in pass defense. And we play literally the worst football team in America on Saturday. Why run the ball when you can pass on 3rd and Durkin's shitty zone defense all game long;

Auburn looks like the most improved team in the league, other than maybe MSU.

Freeze is a good coach who is from the South and understands the SEC. I didn’t think that it would take him long to right the ship.
