ESPN QB stats SEC
A few things really jumped out.
Stockton is very efficient with his passing
Pavia at Vandy has continued to be the best thing to happen to Vandy in a while
Arnold was not the issue last year at OU
2 QBs have over 100 snaps
Nuss is throwing 40 passes a game…
Sellers and Lagway are just off this year.
Stoops is robbing UK blind.

Is it just me or does that link go to scores, not stats?

Goes to stats for me

I tried it in 3 browsers, just copying the link. I apologize if it didn’t work.
Copying the list just jumbles it.

Nah, my phone was using the ESPN app to open the link for some reason. Opening it in a new tab worked. Thanks!

We’re pretty happy with our new QB at Mizzou.
Close to an 80% completion rate. 5 TDs passing, 2 rushing through two games. Averaging 300 yds/gm in the air.

Quality of competition matters.

Not snaps but action plays (pass or rush by the QB) according to the stats.

Sellers down at 15 out of 16. He’s going to have to play much better if they’re going to be a dark horse

Sure. He was 30-39 against an FBS school yesterday for 300+ yards. I know it wasn’t East Tennessee level of competition or anything.

Actually, I don't see any elite SEC QBs right now. Some show running flashes but inconsistent passing.
The season is early; however, there ain't no Heismans' creating headlines. Ha

He also hasn't been sacked, but there is a segment on the UGA board that wants him benched and the OC and OL coach fired.
It's a college football tradition that thrives when all others fall by the wayside.

Screen passes tend to be high percentage throws.

He stares down his receivers and doesn’t seem to be able to go through progressions. He is still very inexperienced and it seems like the game hasn’t slowed down for him yet. Against cupcakes it doesn’t matter.
UGA will rely on defense and the other team making mistakes until that changes.

Too early for these numbers to matter
Huge disparities in quality of opponents
By mid-October these stats will become more legitimate

Hard to take away much from those stats given the enormous disparity in opponents through these first two weeks. Arkansas, for instance, has played two piles of dog shite while Texas opened the season at Ohio State.

But Arkansas doesn't have the anointed Heisman winner and first overall pick in the NFL playing QB.

Green put up over 3k yards and 600 on the ground in his fist year under Petrino…pretty sure he will surpass that this year. He’s done what he needs to do at this point and I expect the same vs Ole Miss with a win
