8 maybe 9 different teams could win it if the chips fall right. Every team has strengths to flex and some weaknesses to exploit in the right situation:
Contenders:
UGA
LSU
OM
A&M
Okie
USCe
Mizzou
Texass
Possibities wiff a lil luck:
AU
Tenner
Bama
And don’t look now but these teams are 2-0:
Vandy
Arky
State
Lost in the woodpile:
Kentucky
Florida
Contenders:
UGA
LSU
OM
A&M
Okie
USCe
Mizzou
Texass

I think it’s going to be a bloodbath. I see a lot of really good 3-4 loss teams.

I don’t know if I would say the SEC is stacked, but it is wide open. There’s no dominant team, and every team has pretty significant flaws, some more than others. I think it is going to be exciting throughout the season. There won’t be many SEC games that are big mismatches one way or the other.
To me, it seems unlikely that any SEC team is the best team in the country, but we might have 10 of the top 25 teams.
It wouldn’t shock me at all if two 6-2 teams are playing each other in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.

Agreed. First one to 10 wins locks a spot. Might even have a 3 way tie with 9 wins with some crazy tie breakers taking the 2nd spot.

Every year the first 3 weeks... The SEC is Stacked!!
Every year after 7 weeks 70% of the league "why god? Just why,?"

Lol at having OM, Missouri, TAMU, and the Cocks in that first group.

Realistic leaders right now, in no order: TN, UGA, LSU, OU, TX. What about South Carolina? Personally, I think they could be in that group. Right on the fringe. I think they are better than some here think they are.
Missouri looks good. I'd say the second group would be SC, Mizzou, Ole Miss, Auburn, Aggies, Bama.
Then Florida, Miss State, Vandy, Arkansas, Kentucky.

The parity is going to be fun for college football fans. There’s not an Alabama and Georgia steamrolling teams every year now. There will probably be a lot of 2-3 loss teams that could legitimately win the title.

Agreed. The SEC is turning into the NFL of the college game. Adding a ninth conference game is going to make it even more grueling.

I hate that 9th game creating unbalanced/home away.
It should be two OOC tune up games and a 10 game conference schedule like 2020.

Hot Take: Arkansas and Vandy both look better than Auburn, Ole Miss and Missouri.

Arkansas has played 2 awful teams

Ole Miss beat an awful Kentucky team by 7. Missouri was down to an awful Kansas team at home with 3 minutes left to play.

So has Ole Miss.
Simmons just threw another pick.

I'm sure home wins against Alabama A&M and Arkansas State will have the Hogs used to what they'll face in Oxford.
Good luck.
Good luck.

If Pugs plays we’re winning the SEC… I just don’t know when the switch will happen and how much damage has occurred.

I’m sure playing that close game with the worst team in the SEC and playing Georgia State prepared y’all too.
