AJ McCarron says we have less than $20 million in NIL and other schools have double.

Guys we may be getting smoked in recruiting soon. Once the shine of Bama wears off because of the current spoiled bunch, we’re going to have a disaster waiting because we can’t spend like others.

ETA: And this is BEFORE the boosters stop throwing so much money at us. Imagine how low it could go.

Time to call in the Sororities to make Tik Tok videos so we can get creator money.

NIL has pretty much already ruined cfb. I care less and less by the day about it. And it has nothing to do with being dejected about Saturday's game or last year. The system is fricked.

It's going to reman fricked unless we get some form of salary cap and restrict one and done players from jumping ship.

I wonder how many of our previous players, both retired and still in the NFL, contribute to the NIL fund.

This is why we can’t afford a losing season or two. We’re counting on a lot of kids coming to Bama for exposure & the promise of going to the NFL because we’re the supposed gold standard of college football. Thats supposed to make up the difference in the NIL gap.

If we start having losing seasons and people view us just another program, then we could really be in trouble for the foreseeable future.

Even if I had millions to burn, not a single dime would go to any of these primadonnas. Never mind the fact that barely any of them have earned even a free blow job from a toothless lady of the night, why would anyone in their right mind invest in a player that could easily take the money and run to Ohio State with no repercussions.

Oh well, many of our own fans begged for NIL and so called "parity", now they can wallow in the monster they created.

With respect I have to disagree with some of your thoughts.

JMO but that deal about The NFL and exposure is no longer valid and that reason is money. Terry Saban told us the deal in their last recruiting cycle.

"Why are we doing this? They are only interested in the amount of money"

The recruiting pool isn't interested in what happened at Bama in the past! They want money now and all the tradition and NC trophies take a backseat to Ben Franklin.

We're in a fight for 8-4 9-3 seasons now and most of the other programs will be right there with us.

Then the big dollar folks are going to stop sending big money for 8-4 seasons. Again, we're talking most all schools will be with us.

The recruiting player pool and their money hungry parent(s) is going to kill college football. They f up everything else they touch, and it's already documented for you.

What’s annoying is how idiots say Bama was illegally paying players and taken the only reason Saban was good. We’re getting good players now, we just don’t have a coach.

Yup same. Been feeling this way for a couple years. These kids don't care about Alabama at all. It's all about $$$. I get it.

College needs to move to contracts and performance incentives. It's so crazy to think how we got here

I don't buy that anyone not actively involved in the program or a part of any of the collectives has any idea of what the real figures are concerning NIL.

Haha…forget TikToks, this is where the money is at.

Top OnlyFans earners can make millions annually; Iggy Azalea, for example, earned an estimated $48 million in 2025, while Sophie Rain reportedly made $43 million in 2024, but amounts vary significantly by creator, with other top earners including Bella Thorne and Bhad Bhabie. Blac Chyna is also cited as a significant earner, with one report noting she made $1 million within the first 24 hours of joining.

Surely someone in the program is friends with Sydney Thomas.

Our ex NFL players we all brag about, don’t give squat back to the program financially. It’s embarrassing. What has Nick given since he left the program. Yes he helped Alabama a ton, but we also paid him well. He has a net worth of 100m plus. And between his Lexus dealerships and other stuff, he’s making a quarter of that a year. We need those who we supported to give back some.

Nick doesn't owe us anything. If you factor in all the money he made the university over the years he was actually underpaid while he coached if you can believe it. The NFL guys on the other hand...if they want to run their mouths about the program not being up to the standard they expect, between the lot of them they could fund our NIL without putting a real dent in their net worths.

Well daaaaaamn. I mean, they don’t HAVE to.

Wow. Saban is only responsible for the school’s ability to recruit at a high level, improvements to facilities, and adding to the legacy of the program, but go off.

Then don’t complain when we’re shitting the bed for years to come. If we want to be near the top at least we have to fork out cash and 25 dollar monthly memberships to yea Alabama won’t do it

Yes he does. We made him the highest paid coach in CFB from the beginning to end. I went to school in 2007 and my tuition was 12k a year, now it’s 40k while I’m sending my daughter. You may just be a fan but those of us who actually attended bama feel like we deserve better right now. That didn’t increase because of trumps tarrifs. We’re paying for that stadium and these coaches. They do owe us, the students and fans something.
