Hearing DeBoer came down hard on some of the players. Curious to if there’s any truth.

I put up more of a fight with FSU fans on the way back to my car than the players or coaches did.

He did. “Gosh darn it, you guys! If you’s don’t get it together and play like I know you can, I’m turning off the practice music and no more Door Dash before the game! Now you guys all go think about how you messed up Saturday and look in the mirror and give yourself some positive affirmations and meditate on what we need to do to get things turned around and make it fun again! Dismissed! Hey! Remember…I love you guys win or lose! Golly gee, now you got me all misty eyed!”

I hear he brought the ice cream machines back in the lockerroom since the players were bummed out they got their a$$ kicked.

I can confirm one of his accounts no longer exists. I think he has a second one, but he hasn't been live for 22 days.

He definitely golly gee’d them in the locker room.
Told them how awful they played but that he knows they are good people/players and need to have more fun.

I would have kept the meeting Sunday with the players short and sweet
“I’m going to be here a while because it costs too much to fire me.
“But some of you turds aren’t going to be here if there’s a repeat of Saturday. That was unacceptable. Un-f**cking acceptable. And it’s not going to be tolerated and not going to be repeated. Period. I don’t care how much f**cking money you make.
“Neither is the performance of this coaching staff in preparing you for that game, and that starts with me because I am responsible for this program. Our performance was unacceptable as well, and because of that the coaching staff and I are going to donate amounts equivalent to our salaries for Saturday to the Saban Center. If any of you had a gut in your body, you’d do the same.
“Be on the field tomorrow ready to work your asses off and ready for a new day in this program because we are moving forward and you better be ready to move hard and fast or you are going to get run over.
“Now get out of my sight.”

I heard was flat out upset. He told the players, “he wasn’t mad, but gosh darnit, he was disappointed”.

I had the idea of letting the players count the loafs in their film study today. One loaf equals one quarter on the bench this Saturday. Let the players hold each other accountable for a their own laziness.

Sorry, but the fact they played the way they did tells me all I need to know. If he had any ability to truly be “hard” on a player, there’s no way in hell those guys played that poorly last Saturday.

Oh please, that wasn’t a rip. I’ve been on DeBoer’s case hard for the last 48 hours but I don’t have a bit of a problem with that assessment of Ty because it’s on target and was not completely negative. Saban has poked players much harder in press conferences.
