I have some optimism and some realizm brewing at the same time.
Feel like we dominate this week. Hope that leads to a hot start.
Of course the life of a Hog fan means that there's a chance we don't dominate and we ride the struggle bus and it gets ugly fast.

So maybe tempered optimism is a good word?

7-5 probably 8-4 hopeful is where I am. 6-6 reality worst case.... beyond that we have to make changes.

Best realistic hope is our offense is one of the better ones in the league and our defense is serviceable enough for us to be competitive and go bowling.

Possibly, but unrealistically, we have a shot at 9 wins and being in the playoff picture at season’s end. Enjoy the possibility while we have it.

Lots of apathy until we start winning

I personally think we’ll be better than expected

Pretty much my expectations this year. Anything more than that is just gravy.

I think we're much better than last year, but so is everyone else. I'm worried about the wr's on paper. It looks like we'll struggle in the redzone against good teams. The defense on paper looks very good. Redzone defense might struggle.

It looks like we'll kick a lot of field goals and get gassed on D in 4Q goallines. I don't think we get blown out anymore, though. If I was betting this year I'd go against the spread in the first few big games. Memphis and stAte could be trap games which blow the season up before it starts.

Hinges on the Dline. Better than expected 7-5/9-3. As expected 5-7/6-6. Worse than expected the wheels fall off we win 2 or 3 games and Pittman “retires” at the end of the season.

The team will shine enough in games early on, including a sweet upset, that my hope edges toward belief.

Then a shoulda, coulda, near upset, followed by an embarrassing loss will leave me disgusted, mostly in myself.

We will be the surprise team in the SEC so I’m right there with you at 8-4. Anything better than that is gravy

Don’t know. Watched a YouTube video that contained almost all of the big highlights when Petrino was here and got excited and then just kind of “meh, until I’m proven wrong”. We had a lot of proven players by the end of his tenure though, so we’re living in a new world with all of the changes and how much it impacts each year for teams.

Nah…the floor is 3-9

Screw around and lose to a solid Memphis team on the road and Notre Dame at home…maybe beat Miss State in SEC play is worst case and unfortunately, wouldn’t be surprising under Pittman.

But, would it also not surprise you to beat both Memphis, ND, OM, Aub, ASU, BamaA&m, and 2 others? Wouldn't me...

I'll just be honest. I've got no hope of us winning more than 6 games and not sure we can get that many.

I don't think so. If all another team can do is run against us, we'll win. I'm cautious and apathetic-ish. I think the season hinges on wr and te

10-3. Bobby P breaks out the real playbook after turning Taylen into Lamar Jackson Jr. Taylen gets invited to New York and finishes second in Heisman voting. Arkansas makes the playoffs losing in second round when Pittman decides to call the plays.

Somewhere between 3-9 and 7-5. Anything outside of that would legitimately surprise me.

Receivers and TEs are a complete unknown, and backend of the defense looks shaky. Plus we have an insane schedule.

I think we end up 4-8 or 5-7. There’s a very real chance we go 1-7 after the Memphis game.

We'll roll tomorrow and herp derp from there.

5-7 is probably the best we will get. This is the weakest Razorback team on paper we have had since joining the SEC
