The northern SEC teams should play each other every year

Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt
They should all be permanent opponents. Obviously Tennessee still gets Alabama and Georgia (while rotating 4 new opponents every year), but I think this makes the most sense
Schedule these games for November when it’s actually chilly, the way it’s meant to be in the fall

In terms of history and rivalry
Big 8 / SWC
Mizzou + Hogs + Sooners is a start, then maybe Kentucky as the 4th
Vanderbilt + Kentucky + Tennessee + Mississippi should be their base 4

The only northern team in the SEC is Mizzou.
