The Big 12 thing just makes my skin crawl

You mostly just want to build a wall around it and let them talk shite to each other and do their own thing. Occasionally you open the gate and throw molding bread and cheese at them, but you never really let them in. This doesn't apply to Arkansas. You're on the east side of the wall.

How is adding 2 top 5 brands a bad thing? It means more big games for the fans.

8 to 12 teams per conference with long term protected rivals in and out of conference and a 4 team CFP so evey game matters. This is all just a money grab and will collapse upon itself when the fans walk away.

It’s interesting because back in that day—pre 1982–SEC scheduling was loose and non standard. The conference didn’t even tell the teams how many SEC teams to schedule.
