How come Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Texas opted out?

Because they heard Mizzou opted out as well.

Lane didn't want another distraction since Ole Miss has been producing "The Season" (which ESPN airs) since 2012 already.

Because those are the most boring teams in the SEC

I heard the only reason Arkansas is included is because the producers called while a reporter asking about a potential scandal was already on line 1 and another one on line 2. The interns handling the calls got nervous and accidentally disconnected the reporter on line 2 only instead of just pulling the plug. Now they're stuck trying to figure out football season and film a damn show with nothing to show for anything.

They must suck at cheating. They should hire someone from Michigan if they want to do it right.

Turned it off after 20 minutes. Had enough of Brian Kelly. Not a good look for him imho.

Anyone watch whole series? Would it be worth my time? If it’s just a rehash of LSU and South Carolina’s season last year no thank you. Got better things to do with my time.

Been watching SEC ball for over 60 years. Don’t need Vanguard and Blackrock trying to hype up what I already know is the best college football conference ever.

PS: BK using the f word 5 minutes in was pure lack of class. I hope all the mothers out there who watched, consider whether they want having that classless jerk coaching their son. It was cringe worthy too me.

I have sampled through it. It is a lot "here is what the program is about" type of stuff for folks that have never watched an SEC game. I found myself fast forwarding a lot. Also, be prepared for a whole lot of Andy Staples just riffing on every team.

Guess you have never been to a Saban practice. The lack of awareness is comical.

Really?? Did you not play football ever at any point in time in your life? Do you think all the other coaches literally everywhere don't curse? This is what you found to be off putting?

Pretty sure, like Hard Knocks, most coaches and players consider it a distraction. It has been sort of a running joke for the past 20 years that it was a way to punish bad teams.

Oh yea, in high school I put Richard Todd ( later Bama QB and NY Jets QB ) on his back one play. They went on to stomp us.

Yes, Coaches curse. My point IS why showcase BK within 5 min using the F work? We all know he has a hot temper. So did Saban.

My question too you sir is if you were sitting with a Mother of a hot prospect watching the first 5 minutes, would that encourage you to tell your son that’s who I want you to play for?

Don’t think so.

The Stone Blanton family divided scene is such a perfect representation of the Mississippi fanbases.

I thought he handled everything well. The only thing that wasn't a good look was the losing. If he didn't get mad, people would say he didn't care.

Yea, Vietnam Era Marine pussy thank you. Bet I’ve heard more cuss words than you’d ever dreamed of. You classless corn dogs can’t accept why you all still suck. It’s called BK.

How to say “I never played sports” without saying it in those exact words.

You are soft as charmin lol. My high school coach was up our asses chewing us out all the time. It was that way for everyone. As my coach told us, if I’m not chewing your arse off, it means I don’t give a frick whether you’re here or not. I only chew the asses off players that want to get better.”
