LSU will be good, but I don’t think they will be great. A little too much rebuilding to do. I hope I’m wrong.

LSU's pitching is loaded. The outfield looks damn good too.

It's the SEC there will be several really good teams next season, like always.

Just imagining all of the new Tennessee alters once Jay Johnson wins 3 CWS titles in 4 years

We’ll be good in March. Excellent in April and May and fall apart some time in June. Rinse repeat…

Mingione has done well in the off-season and we retained some really solid players off last year's squad. I don't know about "great" but think we'll have a shot at making a run again.

You're definitely wrong. This year's LSU team wasn't great, but they won it all. IMO, the 2026 team has a chance to be even better than the 2025 team.

I'm anxious to see what our infield defense looks like next year. It was the best in LSU history this past season. Will take a step back but hopefully not much.

We will be within 3 games either way of 500 in the conference. We'll get bounced out of the the regional and Bianco will retire with his name on the stadium.

Eventually, Arkansas needs to decide how much of their lack of postseason success sits on DVH and how much longer they’re going to give him to get it done.

The pop fly vs Oregon State in 2018 was one thing.

The plays by Aloy and Davalan in 2025 were another.

DVH pitching to Bear Jones with an open base and the winning run on 2nd was simply inexcusable.

State will host next year.

We now have a much better coach and the infusion of talent he brought with him and the resources that have been committed are about to turn us into the best program in the country over the next 2-3 years.

Keeping a pair of top 50 prospects out of the draft helps big time too.

All of whom missed the NCAA tournament in 2025.

Mighttt want to pump the brakes.

State is going to be loaded.

Definitely preseason top 10, probably preseason top 5. Omaha or bust type of year.

We are going to have multiple guys on the bench this year that could be All SEC contenders.

Two freshman coming in that were top 50 draft prospects that made it to school. One of them throws 103 from the left side.

#1 ranked transfer portal class

#6 overall transfer will be our friday night ace

#9 overall OF transfer was a draft threat but is making it to campus

Held on to our likely preseason 1st team all american third baseman (and golden spikes watch list)

Our top four hitters are returning (all four were top 4 on the team in BA and OPS)

Pitching is our biggest unknown as we don't return a ton of innings, but our transfer class and young talent is loaded. No less than 5 guys that would at least be competing for a weekend spot on any SEC team.

I don't think it's too early to say State is back in a big way. This could be the best roster we've ever had.

LSU will be elite
So will Arkansas
Texas going to be at the top or near top
Tennessee is going to be up there

Don't know enough about MSU
Don't know enough about Auburn either

Count on the same 4.

We’ll see how it all comes together, but everything has broken State’s way this offseason (BOC hire, #1 portal class, recruiting class still intact after the draft, retained big offensive pieces), I expect us to be really good next year

Yeah DVH gets tight in big games. Pulling Root early in game one and bringing in Gaeckle essentially burned 2 of our best arms in a loss. He needs a shot of bourbon before the game and 2 at the 7th inning stretch.
