And yes that was a horrible decision. But what about the play before that by the first baseman?? He inexplicably chases the ball like 30 feet off first when the second baseman is easily set up to field it. None of this nonsense gets off the ground if he plays his position properly. Would have been two out no one on at that point.

What about the outfielder diving for a ball he had no chance at that allowed the tying run to come in and the winning run to get to second?

Jones hit a ball right at the second baseman and it hit right in his glove and he failed to squeeze it. That with the double play that wasn’t and the screwup in left field cost the game. LSU literally hit 3 ball hard the entire game

Funny that Aloy is getting all the blame when almost the entire team and coaching staff melted that last inning.

Looked more like he slipped because his first step was back then he realized he needed to run in and did an awkward dive after slipping
