Just looking at things logically here: They're the only big dog in a talent rich state.

Other talent rich states in the SEC such as Florida and Texas are diluted with several brands.

I know that national recruiting is a bigger variant these days, but homegrown talent still matters a lot and they've got it in spades.

The talent they used to get goes to schools with money these days.

You are forgetting another big school in another big talent-rich SEC state who whipped your arse in the SEC Championship game a few years ago.

The same big school that lost by 20+ in consecutive years to Ed Orgeron

UGA fans will never get over that.

There's only one P4 school in Louisiana.

Georgia has 2.

UGA players were doing Get the Gat in the locker room 4 years after getting legally raped by LSU

But yeah, y’all definitely haven’t gotten over it.

LSU underachieving has always been an issue. It has nothing to do with NIL

Imagine having Nick Saban, a returning Heisman winner at QB and the eventual #1 and #3 picks in the NFL draft and losing to Brian Kelly

I think GA is different because so many people here are transplants.
LA has all these freak athletes who grow up there.

Tulane is closer to a P4 program than Georgia Tech

Recruiting rankings say otherwise. GT isn't exactly setting the world on fire, but they definitely have more talent than Tulane.

They're in a P4 conference in a major metro.

LSU was embarrassed

50-30 and there were two fluke plays which lead to Georgia TDs. LSU passed for 500 yards!

And LSU overachieved to finish as runner-up in the SEC in a rebuilding year.

Imagine trying to shite talk a team that's won twelve of the last fourteen games between you, has a thirty game lead on you head-to-head, and blew you out at home last year in a game that tossed your season in the dumpster and slammed the lid shut.

All this in a thread about how LSU doesn't live up to its potential.

No. Both LSU and Alabama had Saban. Even in Saban's first 5 years at Bama he was much more successful than he was at LSU.

LSU was embarrassed and MOUTHfrickED on national TV by UGA the last time we played. With your gingerbread "Heisman winner".

FACT.

Not fact.

He wasn't a Heisman winner that year, he was fairly average and was also playing on a sprained ankle.

UGA fans are glad that LSU replaced him with BK.

LSU is already pretty damned successful. Fan obsession with going on a Alabama under Saban run or even a Spurrier at Florida type are crazy...its special because its rare. Certainly LSU has missed opportunities but there aren't more than what, 10 or so programs, with more success????
