Hate to see older men realize that they won't achieve their life goals. Sampson's face said it all. He will never be back.

Sampson is a helluva coach. Gotta be hard watching a 39 year old win it all against your team.

Meh. frick em. His players talked way too much shite and acted classless throughout the tournament. If you condone that, you don’t deserve to win

Sampson will get one.

Had he been able to keep his nose clean at OU or IU he’d probably already have at least one.

If he could draw up offensive sets he would have won by 10+

Houston is bringing in the number 2 class for next year
But the tournament is such a crap shoot, they could go one and done even with a stacked team

That was such a crap last possession. Must have sucked to see them not even get a shot off

Duke is bringing in 4 five stars that are ridiculously talented. The big question can you win with young transcendent talent over older grown arse men?

He's absolutely the one that got away for Indiana. Funny to think where that program might be if he didn't get canned over those texts.

One of my good friends is an UH assistant coach. They showed him walking through the tunnel and look on his face was gut wrenching. I can’t even imagine how that feels in the moment. Such a bitter feeling.
But heck, in the big scheme of life, it’s just a game.

I don't know what Houston has coming back next year but I got the same feeling I had with Pearl (and I hope like hell I'm wrong about that) Saturday night in that they both realize that was their last best shot.
Would be unfortunate for both if neither ever won one because they've both been great coaches for a long, long time.

I believe Houston has a stacked class coming in. 3 five star players IIRC.

And even if they make it back, what are the odds of being up 12 in the NCG again? Hope he makes it but the odds are against him.
This was the same pain of being an Atlanta Falcons fan in 2016, even if we make it back to the Super Bowl we're never going to be up 28-3 again.

To you it’s just a game. Is your life long career, that you put your guts, sweat, tears, and soul into, just a game to you?

If you are going to show it, show the whole thing p-dub. I thought this was very big of their star player to stop and pick up the trash.
