No. There are already too many teams.

I don’t think A&M or UT would allow it. Just like the Gators won’t let F$U in.

Pretty much the entire western flank of the SEC would say no. Houston is too valuable a recruiting ground in all sports to let the hometown team in, commuter school or not.

TEXAS TECH would be so much better.

Best part about adding Tech would be watching aggy cry after losing to Tech.

Nobody wants to travel out to damn near New Mexico for conference games.

This is where we are aligned.

They are a commuter school with small enrollment.

They bring no TV sets, their stadium is small, and they are a critical recruiting base for TU, LSU and A&M.

How about NO!

I didn't mean to hurt your feelings by pointing out how far away Lubbock is from the average SEC team.

Then we might as well add Memphis. Urban commuter schools with no football following and community college vibes. Hell, let’s add UCF too!

Is that where you went to school? You seem retarded, so it checks out.

Houston, Tulane, TCU, UCF, Memphis, Louisville, Miami, USF, GA Tech: all SEC states with big markets. Let’s bring them in lol. Gets the SEC to 25 schools.

It’s close to 50k, enrollment would be in the top half of conference.

How about we kick out the last 4 additions, instead?

The purpose of adding teams is MONEY. There is no other reason. No team in Texas would add one cent of value to the SEC. The SEC already has Texas' two money teams.

I ama fine with 16. IMO, SEC does not need anymore. BUT, if NCarolina wanted in, I would add them.
