Aggies disqualified in 4x400 relay and may have cost Arkansas the trophy.

Couldn’t be satisfied with the SEC trophy, had to cheat to keep the Hogs from having a chance to win the NCAA Indoors.
From the NCAA:
“Southern California won the 2025 Division I men's indoor track and field title, clinching the title with the meets final event — a CHAOTIC 4x400 meter relay. Texas A&M got disqualified for flagrantly impeding Arkansas, which campaigned for a re-run of the race but was denied.
After the dust settled, USC outpaced Arkansas to score five points in the 4x4 to give the Trojans the championship win by six points. In total, USC finished with 39 points, while Georgia finished with 33 points in second place. It's USC's first men's indoor title in 53 years.”

The 4x400 - the last event of the night - in a tightly contested championship track meet where the championship is decided is one of the most tense and cool things you can see in sports.
I coached high school track for 5 years in Alabama and I’ve seen coaches lay down $25 - required by AHSAA - to protest an official’s decision on interference at the state meet. You win some you lose some. Referee’s decision is final.
I was surprised Arkansas didn’t sweep. Their men’s and women’s teams were ranked No. 1 going in, I think.

If a team is ruled to be “impeded upon”, how in the world do you not have a do over with the offending team sitting it out? USCw can enjoy their asterisk I guess.

If you watch the video, it’s damn close and could’ve gone either way. Doesn’t matter, Arkansas wasn’t going to win it all anyways, they were not going to beat UGA’s time which would’ve been required to win the championship
