Seen this guy's analytics floating around a few places. Definitely interesting looking at the player ratings list:

https://evanmiya.com/?player_ratings

I think for example our highest rated player is Thomas Haugh at #7, which might surprise fans of other teams but probably not Gator fans. Dude is close to the perfect college PF. Solid size, athlete, skillset, IQ, and out efforts everyone else on the floor.

Love to see Amari Williams up higher on that list. I think he gets an inordinate amount of shite because he's a Point Forward, so he doesn't always function as a typical big man. And he's been absolutely gang busters the last three games.

Otegwa Oweh at 169? Seriously? But I guess that means he may return next year?

Fingers crossed he sticks around. Needs to work on his outside shot.

At times it looks like he has a different stroke from 3 than his mid range which gets a little hitchy.

with all the downvotes, Serraneaux must be back. I guess he got the afternoon off from Burger King.

Weird to see only one Alabama player barely in the top 50.

Auburn has 5 players all better than him? I think that's getting a bit absurd.

Only 1 Bama player might be correlated number of minutes played. Nate Oates plays about 10 players per night with significant minutes. Not sure how that compares with other teams.

Texas bball is average at best but he has tre Johnson currently lessening points in the sec 240. Even if tre was atrocious at d he is a top 50 player undisputed.

Haugh should win every 6th man of the year out there.

He’s a lock as a lottery pick. He shoots over 4 points and 6% points hire than Wade Taylor. Either way my point is he is not the 240th best player in ncaa that’s laughable. He’s top 30 at worst

Don't think these rankings have all that much to do with best player.

Certainly nothing to do with NBA draft desirability.

Auburn with 5 of his top 33. Unreal.
Looks like UF has 3 of the top 30 as the closest.

1. Broome- Auburn
4. Ziegler- Tennessee
5. Cardwell- Auburn
7. Hugh- Florida
14. Williams- Kentucky
20. Robinson II- Missouri
22. Butler- Kentucky
23. Matthews- Miss St.
26. Pettiford- Auburn
27. Baker-Masara- Auburn
29. Condon- Florida
30. Clayton- Florida
33. Johnson- Auburn

That is pretty amazing. Mark Sears came in as the expected POY in the league and we’ve got 5 Auburn players rated better.

Alabama without a single player in the top 44 and 1 in the top 80. Seems reasonable.

List is shite.
Robinson might not not be the best point guard on our team.

Average starter minutes are roughly the same for bama and Auburn. The biggest difference comes at the 4 where Chaney Johnson gets most of the backup minutes for Auburn and bama's are split between two guys. That doesn't really matter as much as you'd think in these ratings, as they are based on possessions played (on O and D).

It is all efficiency based on both ends of the floor and compares against all other players in NCAA basketball.
