Reid had success at multiple professional programs where he had minimal roster control. Saban had success at multiple college programs where he could cheat and stack the deck. Doesn’t mean he wasn’t the best in college

Well then I’ve got to ask how many Super bowls did Belichick win without Brady or cheating?

He is more flashy as an OC where NS and Bill B were D minded. Brady and Mahomes have something to do with their success.

Saban was a fail at NFL. Reid is better.

Reid probably had a HOF résumé even before the Chiefs run. His mark on offensive philosophy is all over football to this day and his coaching tree is absolutely insane.

Whatever he couldn't get done with McNabb and the Eagles, in forever, he obviously figured out in Kansas City. Good for him.

Neither are nothing like Saban. Saban won with his team significantly changing every year. Reid has an elite QB in a league that is setup for the QB to singly handedly when the game: ( can’t touch the QB, can’t hit recivers, defense taken out if the game). It’s partly why Brady was so successful.

Note I’m not saying that those aren’t elite QBs, but to pretend both of those would have gotten through a season back in the 1980s without a bruise would be foolish.

Remember, we are in the age of free agency, it doesn’t make sense for a NFL team to win back to back to back super bowls.. but over the past decade or 2 we have seen it over and over.
