I was in section 419 and most people are too lazy to stand make noise when the other team has the ball. Even on third down more than half of the people are sitting down and not screaming. Plus, 30% of the people are on their phone and not even watching the game.

It has nothing to do with our corners not being able to play man. Baker was determine not to let Chambliss beat us with his legs and the best way to do that is playing zone. In man payers turn their back to the qb running with wr’s. In zone all eyes are forward and towards the line of scrimmage.
Playing zone isn’t horrible if you can execute it, but I can’t remember the last time our Defense was a good zone team.

I am not sure how some one could watch Leavitt and our offense last night and still believe we are going to the playoffs.

Trying to stop from Chambliss from scrambling. Baker always seems to go from 1 extreme to the other and we do a real poor job of disguising what we are doing.

Not even close. Leavitt is so uncomfortable in the pocket and has no feel for pressure besides taking off and running.

Ole Miss finished 2nd in the nation in total defense in 2024 and still lost 3 games.

Worried about Leavitts first sec road game. He was horrible last year at Miss St. We need to keep Chambliss in the pocket and not let him extend plays with his legs. If we do that we win: 24-20

Turnovers will be the key for an ole Miss win. If Leavitt doesn’t force things and doesn’t try to do too much I think LSU by 7.
