I've never seen a basketball season with such terrible reffing across the conference. Can we get some training for these people?

They let Bama and LSU play physical both ways, was a pretty well called game.

Not saying it was unevenly called, but the way you call a game significantly impacts the score. Alabama can be pretty physical, but much prefers to run. Letting them play physical played more towards letting LSU keep it close. I’m not knocking the gameplan for LSU at all. It allowed them to stay in the game.
The refs let UT turn the AU game into a rock fight. I didn’t see much of it til after our game was over, but a 2025 score in the 50s is pretty telling of what went on.

That’s a pretty strong opinion for someone that just admitted they didn’t watch the game.

Auburn got a free space in the end. I have watched refs call no fouls until the end allowing physical fights. And calling one way when the time is running out and every point counts towards a win.

Both teams got calls, or missed calls. That Okpara travel late was pretty huge though.
Good, tough fought game. That game was a fist fight tonight. Broome still a force

It was physical.
Both teams kept their composure.
If you called a hs game like that, there would be chaos, fighting.
Zakai is so good.
We don’t have a true point guard like him.

This game reminded me of the old Big East when they allowed 6 fouls per player, but 6 were never called.

It was pretty much what Jay Bilas said, my man. Take it up with him. I saw the last few minutes and heard the announcers say “a lot of contact” 5-6 times. Also said it was a fist fight, went 12 rounds and the refs are letting them play.
After the bad no call on Broome yanking the guy into the travel, Bilas specifically said that there has been all kinds of contact with no call all night, but you have to call that one. There’s little chance Aubie was looking for a game in the 50s. It gave UT a chance to win. You seem to be taking it as an insult or something. Not sure why. It has been a successful style of play for the Vols, and they had a shot at the end for a W

Did the football refs get a side gig for the off season?
Only thing I’ve seen look as bad

Yeah, that was crazy with the amount of contact and grabbing that both teams got away with, terrible officiating.
Agree with your comment on Zakai, huge respect for him after that game.

Seriously, the Big East was a very physical league, the B1G still is. It happens.
