If you were to look back and pinpoint one key moment that you could change, how would doing so change the programs trajectory?

ETA: must be realistic

easy.
what if Saban never had the desire to try his hand in the NFL and just stays at LSU until retirement?

Tre Mason falls on the 1 yard line instead of scoring against FSU.

Texas fans don’t play the “what if” game.

If either of the two times a nebbish blocked from behind aka clipping had been called on that Johnny Rodgers punt return in 1971 . . .

The loss to Navy in 1984. That was our chance to play for a national championship. We blew it against a 4-5-1 Navy team. If we had won that game maybe the program would be different today.

What if Saban hadn't whined his way into the championship game in 2011?

It's probably Cam Newton staying and never having the whole laptop incident.

Another good one is if Grier never gets in trouble. That team was looking really good, changed the entire trajectory of McElwain.

what if the ball isnt tipped in 2012 SECCG and UGA wins natty vs ND. How long does CMR stick around, and we likely don't sign Kirby

For A&M the loss to Arkansas last game of the 1975 season has to be it.

This is what I would have thought for UGA as well

Hard to say

I think you still would have gotten him

What if Frank Broyles doesn't drive off Lou Holtz or Ken Hatfield are up there.

Both won at an incredible clip. Both routinely had teams in the hunt for a national title (and one of Holt's teams has a darn good claim on a natty). And, instead, we started the slow, painful, and bitter decline to where we are now.

What if Les wasn’t so stubborn and change game plan for Natty in 2011, Saban changed his and crushed Les and his same ole gameplan that only scored 6 pts to beat Bama prior game
