You cut cancers out, you don't coddle them.

Should’ve given Ty at least a series or two. Coaches have been doing that since the beginning of the game. Who knows….it could’ve lit a fire under Jalen that he didn’t know he had.

The offensive line would have got him seriously injured. I’d rather have him ready for Spring than rehabbing. It’s over. There should be major position changes going forward. No need to dwell.

Saban should have done this in 2023 after the USF game. He let the cancer grow and now DeBoer is stuck cleaning up the mess.

This idea that there was ever a revolt is childish nonsense and is a microcosm of our society today. Milroe isn't good. Deboer stuck with him for continuity and because he's too nice. It's not a grand conspiracy.

Being nice is great, hell I like nice people. It’s understandable that’s who DeBoer is as a person and coach, but being nice is going to be the downfall of the program.

No one was revolting

This is an online conspiracy which actual reality goes against.

Gene Stallings is one of the nicest people who’s ever walked this planet but he was also tough as teak and not afraid to do what needed to be done as a coach. DeBoer needs to find that balance.

A coach has to put the good of the team ahead of the good of individuals.

Being "nice" to Milroe isn't fair to the dozens of guys who were out there actually busting their arse to win.

They don't make many like that unfortunately.

Yeah someone close to him needs to be real with him. The camera is gonna be on him all the damn time. At least from a pure PR perspective, hes got to either be a bit more fiery and animated or just completely stoic. The happy go lucky with the dry fit shirt just looks bad regardless of how it reflects the reality of his coaching.

I feel for Bernard. He could’ve had a huge day that could’ve boosted his profile and NIL status. It’s a shame players like him have to suffer because we had to be nice to Milroe.

I am hoping he will learn from the experience.

I’m just one fan but I said from the start … and it really got hard, I am still not over Norman … I would grant him a transition until our final play this season.

That play is in the record books. It’s all on him from this point forward.

Absolutely he owns everything starting next season. Im still more optimistic than pessimistic. I think hes a superior football coach than the majority of other coaches in this conference

Saban lost the program in 2020 when he let players like Najee Harris basically force him into a BLM march.
Instead of showing solidarity with the players it signaled a changing of control that NIL then amplified. After 2020 the program was never the same...even under Saban and even when winning the SEC last year. It's why he retired. Discipline is out, brand is in.

You think a democrat Saban was forced to do a BLM March?

This was the beginning of the end. There are some communist race baiters that are gonna pipe up about this though

Saban and Byrne let this grow and fester.
