Cause they beat a shite Bama team?

Who else exactly did they beat?

Lost to Arky and gaped by UGA, Tennessee got a pass with all the talk about Bama, Ole Miss, SC but look at their schedule. It was horrible

They didn’t beat anyone either

Who else are they gonna put in? There’s a top tier group that will usually beat the rest of the field, just like every other year

the reality is there aren't 12 other teams who had a win in the regular season better than Tennessee's win over Bama who were better than 8-4.

There were maybe 6-7 who did. And many of them had losses to a few crappy teams to go with it.

When you're talking about meaningful wins, the only teams who had solid records and a few of them were:

Oregon
OSU
UGA

That's it.

After that it was choosing teams with some good wins but also some crappy losses... or choosing teams without crappy losses who also didn't have much in the way of wins.

Playoffs are a bust so far. North Dakota state game and then Montana state game were much more entertaining than texas or Penn state games. Now Tennessee getting blown out.

Playing at home is going to be a big big big plus in the CFP. It’s big during the regular season but it’s amped up in a one game season situation

Because their schedule had them playing every bottom tier team of the SEC except Auburn and only playing bama and UGA from the top half.

This inept playoff committee valued win loss record over all.

That’s pretty much how it works in any sport

Win your games and then you can’t complain.

This all day.
Tennessee wins this game in Knoxville. We had no chance up there, and I knew that from the jump.

I think you are all denying the fact that the SEC is now shite. Recruits want to go to real schools with real NIL markets these days.

Strength of schedule should count. Beating shitty teams doesn't prove a damn thing other than you're better than shitty.

12 spots, not 12 worthy teams.

You obviously don’t pay a damn bit of attention to college basketball and baseball. No… W-L record is not the determining factor in who gets in and seeding. The teams with the best resumes, as in best results against a strong schedule.

How many teams make it into those two sports playoff system as well? You have a bit more leeway in seeding than 12 teams and where you didn’t give auto bids for bad conference winner spots.

Your team lost to one of those shitty teams and a few other shitty teams. Just win the games you need to win, it’s easy.
