Yep, all the good WR know how to catch poorly thrown balls behind them without losing their stride.

He has to carry a lot the blame with the team. He played terrible in our 3 losses. You could blame the OL as well but he has to take a lot of it.

The Truth suppresses a laughing outburst momentarily. The Truth's eyes begin to water as he tries not to laugh at the mere mention of the ReliaQuest Bowl. Alas, The Truth is only human. The Truth laughs with such splendor that bits of spit spray across the room. The Truth wipes his eyes and says "Reliaquest bowl!"

Everything about this team depended on Milroe and that was the problem.

I guess you didn't notice UGA's receivers' hands as we were beating that arse for the 11th year in a row.

He carried Vandy and Oklahoma to bowl games and Tennessee to a Playoff berth.

The Truth also breathed a yuge sigh of relief in knowing Milroe will leave Bama with a perfect 2-0 record vs UG rather than 3-0. Oklahoma has no idea how grateful The Truth truly is as they saved UG from carrying yet another L to the team that dunks on them like a bitch.

The Truth is also grateful for the refs in gifting UG a win over lowly Tech.

He cannot read a defense AT ALL. Mix that in with the zone reads where he kept the ball 95% of the time even on places which would have been more successful if he handed off. He focused on the primary and he ran the predetermined play whatever it was without adjustment. He has terrible footwork so many times when he did see the wide open receiver, he cannot throw into windows or anticipate the route, he made a bad throw. The receiver, usually Williams but sometimes Benard, made spectacular and acrobatic catches.
The game against Oklahoma, he tossed an INT on a terrible read that almost resulted in a pick 6. OU only had to go 14 yards for a TD.
On the next series, he tossed a pick 6 which ultimately ended the game with 7 minutes to go in the 3rd Q at 24-3. So they went from being behind 10-3 to three TDs due to Milroe in a matter of minutes.
in the South Carolina game, he tossed an interception in the red zone on a terrible, ill advised pass which effectively gave South Carolina momentum. Against Tennesse, he threw an INT at the UT 2 yard line on first and goal. He had Caleb Odoms wide open on the play but forced a pass to Ryan Williams.
I've just gone over his key INTs. We haven't even discussed his many fumbles or running sideways taking a loss on 3rd and short.
In summary, he absolutely did not carry the team.

The point I was making was that everything about this team was largely, if not entirely dependent on Milroe and how he performed. And, failrly often, it was not great. But, when he played well, we looked like a good team (i.e., LSU).

Outside of being the QB, he also lead the team in rushing attempts and rushing yards. To me, that is a problem and shows that too much of the offense is running through him.

His mistakes were often game changing critical mistakes - many of which you pointed out.

But, there were no instances this year that I recall where Jalen played poorly and the team still looked good.

In summary, he absolutely carried this team. Straight to a 9-3 record and Reliaquest Bowl
