Houston Christian. I have literally never heard of them. I guess we should look for more cupcakes in our future.

Oh... I'm certain the playoff committee was unaware of this information. Perhaps when they hear it, they'll change their minds. Probably would speed things along if you'd email them.

Doesn't matter.
We're stuck in the SEC where 2+ losses are pretty much guaranteed every year.

Even if we make the playoff we'll get a low seed and have to play away games.

The answer is to leave the SEC. It's become far too tough, and all it does is put you at a disadvantage in the postseason.
There's literally no benefit to playing in the SEC at this point.

I wonder if they’re open week 1 next year.

Don't say that to any whorns.

They count the win over Oklahoma as one of their best of the season.

Houston Christian

Formerly Houston Baptist University. Tiny school that just started football in the last 15 years or so. They are in Southland Conference in FCS - the same division as Mercer who Bama played 3 weeks ago.

Definitely recommend you avoid Vanderbilt and Oklahoma.

Just don't go to the ACC. Then SMU will whip you worse than Vanderbilt did.

You got pistol-whipped by one of the worst OU teams to ever put on cleats in decades. Please STFU.

Why does a UF fan even have an opinion on playoffs?

SMU beat 11 cupcakes this year and lost the other two to average teams.
