Considering LSU was the one of the few or only one to get into a two team nc game with 2 losses lol, yet Bama can’t get in with 3 losses in 11 spots …. What am I missing ?

Who did lsu lose to that year? Was it two of the worse teams in the sec?

You do realize that people can make an easy case for South Carolina and it not pertain to being envious of Alabama, right?
Carolina has never been to a BCS bowl or the playoffs. Perhaps some people just want to see the more deserving team and a fan base that deserves some fun to make the playoffs. That might be a lot to process for you.

How many Louisiana State fans are on here making a case for Alabama

The Louisiana State inferiority complex in regards to all things Bama is noted.

I want to say it was Arkansas and Kentucky, so maybe.
But the asterisk was that both were in OT.

In their last 2 games, Bama got destroyed by a .500 team, and played horribly against a team with a losing record. SC won their last 6 in a row including multiple ranked wins. If those stats were reversed it wouldn't matter, the committee would put in Bama over SC because of money.
As for LSU in 2007, even with 2 losses that year, we were the 2nd best team. Until we were the first best team.

I’m not griping. Bama got the benefit of the doubt over a few others teams looking to get the same benefit of the doubt. It’s predictable, sure, but Ole Miss, Miami, etc all blew their wad.
To me, it’s similar to 07. If I recall, the big debate was Georgia (2 losses) and Kansas (1 loss). Neither won their own division, LSU won the SEC. I think it’s that simple.
It’s not THAT cut and dry between Bama and Ole Miss when you compare like opponents, and with no divisions, you can’t use a “title” to help someone and you have very unbalanced schedules.

Two teams that finished unranked, one of which that finished with a losing record in the SEC (Kentucky).

Both beat Georgia but Alabama beat LSU on the road while Ole miss lost to LSU.

Which is still a lot better than getting embarrassed by Vandy and Oklahoma.

It's ironic in it's the LSU game that ultimately kept us out. Yes you could say beat either Bama or Ole Miss too, but if you have to point to one game it's that one, because of the absolute hose jobs on the part of the refs. And we didn't have Sellers for half the game.

I agree but not if you're an LSU fan.
We know better.

If committee had cited that, honestly id have been ok with them ranking South Carolina higher
