The AP poll means nothing. The CFP had Miami at 6. They aren’t dropping out.

Bama was at 7 and lost to a worse opponent than Syracuse.

Agreed. And no way a three loss team that lost to Bama should jump Miami.

We’re all getting left out. Just prepare yourselves for that.

Really wouldn't shock me, especially if Clemson beats SMU. I'm guessing that is what they are rooting for so they can slide in SMU at #12, say they didn't want to punish them for losing an extra game and not have to deal with the SEC stuff.

All of the three loss SEC teams should be above Miami.

The canes have done nothing.

I know with certainty that I don’t know what’s going to happen.

CFP has liked Miami more than the AP poll that's true. Syracuse will likely move into the top 25 as well, so that won't really even be seen as a bad loss

It's silly that we are even arguing over these teams to begin with IMO.

The 3 SEC teams will probably be first 3 out.

Considering one of them will have a first round BYE, I highly doubt it

Think he means the 3 bubble teams (Bama, Carolina, Ole Miss).

How many of the 12 will not have any wins over ranked teams?

Indiana doesn’t I don’t think.

Miami?

SMU?

Penn State? Maybe they have Illinois, not sure.

Anyone else?

Oh, yeah, I think you’re right.

And I think he may be right as well.

If the committee puts in SMU with a loss or even Miami, they avoid the SEC bias and don’t have to deal with the three-way SEC drama.
