Which players do you think or suspect will hit the portal?

I know I’ll get down voted to the moon and some posters will be so enraged at this thought that they’ll hyperventilate but it’s reality that some guys will leave. Not saying I want/hope guys will leave but it’s gonna happen.

I’m guessing the following may leave:

Dylan Lonergan-he could start at a lot of schools and would be a massive upgrade at QB schools like Vandy or Kentucky.

Richard Young or Justice Haynes-I just have a hunch one or both leave if Jam Miller comes back.

Kendrick Law, Kobe Prentice, Emmanuel Henderson-I have a feeling at least two leave.

Ryan Williams if he thinks Milroe is coming back.

Dunno 'bout that...think there may be several WRs thinking that, but not him. Milroe's given him lots of targets and several highlight reel throws; if Williams enters the portal, I don't think it'll be because of Milroe...

Thinking the point is moot, though; Mel Kiper has Milroe as the #3 QB for the NFL draft...if NFL teams agree, he'd be crazy not to declare...

Yeah he'd rather drop perfect passes from other Quarterbacks.

ETA - will be a big number I would imagine. Pretty much is for all schools these days. People think it is all the players leaving by choice , when in fact, some are encouraged to enter and Saban even alluded to helping guys find a landing spot . It is basically a transfer/ cut portal

The only reciever I have seen with the ability to catch insanely difficult passes and totally whiff on the easy ones was Julio Jones.

Williams will almost certainly be a priority for Bama to keep. I'm sure they'll match any deal that another school might come up. It's not like Bond who is probably getting way more than he's worth production wise

Ardarius Stewart did that a lot too it seemed like.

Agreed. He said he was making a business decision and most thought he was thinking he'd get better production and NFL exposure in Texas and not with Milroe...looking at his stats from last season to now:

Texas 2024 (12 games): 32 catches, 510 yds, 5 TDs
Bama 2023 (14 games): 48 catches, 688 yds, 4 TDs

Currently, looks like his production at Texas will at best, be no better than it was at Bama, and perhaps less. Either way, don't think his draft stock improved. Both Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard have been more productive than Bond and that's with more of a running QB and against a tougher schedule...

Bond thought he would be a #1 guy and turns out he was a #3 or #4 at Texas. Same thing happened with Niblack who would be having the time of his life in this offense compared to his five catches at Texas

I personally doubt Keeley transfers. It's year two of this narrative and he's continued to suit up and see snaps in games throughout the season. Notre Dame twitter trying to will it into existence doesn't mean it's a real thing

Also Milroe was honored at senior day and has a graduate patch on. He's gone

I don't think Niblack has the drive to do a lot with football besides cash NIL checks until everyone figures out that the production will never match the ability.

Unfortunately I think you are right about this one. Good player from all accounts. Would love to see him as starting QB for Bama one day but would require patience probably

Agree again

Some are floating Ryan Williams. That dude is a surefire top WR draft pick. 2 more years of eligibility and hes definitely getting all the money he can spend at Bama. Zero reason for him to leave

He left the team over a month ago, FWIW.

As it relates to the running backs, AK Dear is the real deal. He is good enough to play as a freshman. Not sure it’s a sure thing but he’s physically capable of playing early.

I really don't know, but I'm fairly confident that if Simpson hangs around, he knows for sure he's starting next season.

He supposedly shut his recruiting down a couple weeks ago

Didn’t get a chance to work any of his games but talking to people ( coaches, officials ) he is the real deal even though he was pretty much a priority to defend for his team

JM should stay as he looks to be the #1. Always looks better than Haynes to me.
