What's the 1st major change you are making in the offseason?

I would identify the best OL coach in the land, then make him an offer that make him the highest paid position coach in college football!

I'd put another of insulation between me and the door.... by hiring an offensive guru and letting him do his thing.

Watching our OL getting pushed around by just about every opponent is getting very old. Imagine the yards Hunter would have had if he had an above average OL opening holes.

I would know I was a dead man walking. Nothing short of being one of the 12 playoff teams is going to save my job. So either I go completely nuts and do everything I can or just be a poosey and limp to another 6-6 or worse season and gtfo.

Get someone who knows how to run a modern, effective offense and pay them what they want.

What exactly does Nix do?

-Stick to your system no matter what
-Never ever play to your strengths
-Hire no name yes men to be fall guys
-Blame everyone else but yourself for failures
-Do not try to improve the OL

I keep wondering this too. If he’s the running backs coach and he’s 1/3 of the play calling cabal, then why the frick did he give Hunter the ball 3 times in the 2nd half?

The Oline has to face an overloaded box every week. Imagine if Hunter would have had average QB play making the defense have to back off and defend the pass.

I feel bad for hunter. He would've had a hell of a career with a school that had an offensive line not made of paper.

He is getting paid for his offensive skills. He doesnt need to hire someone else to do that. If he cant do that, then he should look for a job somewhere in hospitality. Or maybe party planning.

His head coaching skills are bad. The only way he is going to save himself is to build a unstoppable offense. He shouldn't be looking for someone else to do that for him

Hire the best QB coach money could buy. Take 3 mil from the nil collective and tell him to buy the best qb who answers the phone, then ask for extra donations to cover the money deficit in exchange for having a snowballs shot at making a good run next year

1-find a new special teams coach.
2-find a QB who can actually run RPO effectively.
3-find someone who can kick FGs and punt.
4- tell derpin if his 3rd down D doesnt improve he's toast.

S&C is fine especially considering how long the D spent on the field this year.

1- Hold on to key players already on the team (Coleman, Riddick, Faulk etc) and keep the incoming class together
2- OL coach
3. Portal QB (Only reason this isn't higher is he can do work on other spots before the portal officially opens)
4. Portal shop OTs and LB ready to play now.
